Great place to stay.
Lovely house! Only thing is that the hot water doesn’t last very long, so we needed to boil a few kettles in order to keep the bath hot
We had a lovely stay at The Art Home. It was very tidy and homely, the location is at the back of a school but tucked away, quiet and within walking distance to shops, pubs etc and easy drive to local towns. The only negative was that the oven didn’t work properly, they did send someone out but not much they could do. There wasn’t enough toilet roll and they requested bins to be taken out on the Tuesday however don’t supply any further bin liners to replace with. Very small things but never had this issue before with other places we have stayed in.
This is a lovely house. High quality well appointed and ideal for six people. Well Placed for the bird reserve and everything very easy, clean and good. Would recommend.
A great stay at the art room, the place looked like the pictures. The enclosed garden was lovely and private. The art room felt like a home from home, well stocked kitchen, clean bathrooms and comfy beds. The location was quiet no noise at night or early mornings, very peaceful.
A lovely little spot to explore the surrounding coastline. Cosy and comfy and stylishly appointed.
Lovely little house for a little family getaway. Everything was as advertised. The beds were super comfy especially the king in the master bedroom. The twins in the eaves were a little cramped and very warm but we still managed to sleep so it wasn't a massive issue. We loved the open plan layout downstairs. We had lots of fun playing the games provided. Our 13 year old son made some friends whilst playing football over the back field. That was really handy to have so close by. The kitchen was well equipped. The bathrooms were lovely and clean with great showers. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.
This accommodation absolutely met our needs!
The Art Room is a great base for visiting the Suffolk coast. Really cosy with the log burner. Leiston has a different vibe to Aldeburgh but has a few takeaways and a handy Co-op. We walked to The Dolphin at Thorpeness for lunch which takes an hour or so each way (worth noting about half of it has no footpath if you have little kids). The only complaint was the shower controls were very temperamental. The en-suite was pretty much unusable due to the scalding water temperature and the controls having no effect. Saying that, we would happily stay at The Art Room in the future.
