OUTSIDE
The Art House is at 2 Drayman’s Square in the heart of Southwold and just a few steps from the famous Adnams shop and Café in Tibby’s Triangle with the bustling high street on the other side of the triangle. To the other side of the holiday home is a short walk to the iconic pier and the sea with its wonderful sandy beach and string of colourful beach huts, kiosks and fish and chip shop. There’s also a lovely park and playground literally round the corner. Parking can be found on nearby roads or at a public car park. The house has an enclose outdoor area with a couple of chairs and a table at the back with access through a side gate so you could wheel bikes in there to store securely if needed.
Central location with easy access to walks, seaside and surrounding countryside was excellent and its location tucked away at the back of the Addams cafe meant after it closed it was your own quiet space. A very relaxing stay and we had to leave reluctantly
Great stay and location with friends.
Lovely couple of days in Southwold. The property is brilliant for the local town and walking distance to the beach. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. The house was clean and comfortable. All in all, highly recommend.
We had a wonderful two night stay with our small children (5 and 3) at The Art House in Southwold, having booked with less than 24h notice. The location is terrific, sited at the back of the Adnams shop/cafe (great cooked breakfast) and at the top of the High Street, a few minutes walk to the seafront. The apartment was modern, clean, child friendly and very well provisioned. We found it the perfect base from which to explore Southwold and Walberswick.
We had a lovely stay in this property. Excellent location for high street and beach. Easy to access.
We loved our stay in this house! Had everything we needed and was so close to the town which we loved☺️ would definitely recommend people to stay!
Excellent accommodation, well appointed, clean and comfortable. Property was easy to find and well located for access to the town, amenities and sea front. A very enjoyable stay in Southwold.
Beautiful house right in the heart of Southwold. It overlooks the fantastic Adnams cafe and shop - which we visited every day. Walking distance to shops, pubs, and the beach. Couldn’t ask for more. Parking was a little tricky over the weekend as the streets were full of cars. We figured it out though.
We had a great time in the house. We found out that the whole complex including the Adnams shop opposite was designed by a well regarded architect which we didn’t know when we booked. We thoroughly enjoyed the space and everything the house had to offer. We have visited Southwold previously but being located so centrally, very close the beach and all the local amenities was very special.
