GROUND FLOOR
KITCHEN/DINING ROOM
This sociable sunny room is designed for entertaining thanks to the owner’s occupation as a food writer, with plenty of cookbooks to inspire you! Bespoke units and a central island give plenty of food prep space with two electric waist-height ovens with retractable doors, a four-ring induction hob with an extractor above, a French-style Fisher & Paykel fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, a Sage coffee machine and grinder (there are also cafetieres if you prefer), a kettle, toaster and plenty of fun gadgets including a pasta maker, mixer for baking and a tortilla press. There’s also a microwave in the utility room.
At the other end of the room is a dining table with eight chairs, a wood burner for chilly evenings, a door to the garden for summer months, and Sonos speakers to entertain you.
UTILITY ROOM
Accessed from the back garden, this room’s perfect for sandy feet and beach gear when you return from a swim as it has a butler’s sink, a washing machine and a dryer. You'll find beach towels in the wardrobe in the ground floor bedroom too. There’s also plenty of space to store coats and footwear.
CLOAKROOM
Off the utility room, simply with a WC and wash basin.
GROUND FLOOR BEDROOM
Sitting quietly at the back of the house with a door to the garden, this room is furnished with a double bed, bedside drawers and ample storage in a wardrobe and chest of drawers.
EN-SUITE BATHROOM
A lovely light bathroom where the bath has a rain shower over it and there’s a wash basin, WC and heated towel rail (towels are provided for all guests).
FIRST FLOOR
Carpeted stairs rise to the first-floor landing which is split with a couple of steps to the back bedroom and bathroom, steps to the middle bedroom and elegant living room at the front, plus a second staircase to the top suite. Stairs are relatively steep (as you’d expect in a period property), with a handrail on one side. Bedrooms are carpeted, bathrooms tiled and the living room has a beautiful wooden floor.
TOP FLOOR SUITE
Perched at the top of Sea House is the main bedroom, en-suite shower room where the walk-in shower has both handheld and rain shower heads, and a separate cloakroom with a WC and wash basin down a couple of steps.
BEDROOM
The king size bed takes pride of place in this incredibly light bedroom with sash windows giving far-reaching views of the village and skylights with blackout blinds. A handsome wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside units give plenty of room to unpack and there’s a chair in the corner.
LIVING ROOM
Enjoy the sea view in this wonderfully relaxing living room with its wood burner to take the chill off in the winter. Three deep sofas invite you to curl up with a good book from the shelves or watch the large TV.
BACK BEDROOM
Overlooking gardens, this peaceful room has a double bed with bedside shelves and ample space to unpack with a chest of drawers and a wardrobe.
BATHROOM
Well placed for guests in the back and middle bedrooms. Daylight floods this room which is fitted with a bath and hand shower, a shower cubicle with both rain and handheld shower heads, a wash basin, a WC and a heated towel rail.
MIDDLE BEDROOM
This light and airy bedroom with a feature fireplace and sash window overlooking the gardens has a double bed between bedside drawers and space to unpack and settle in with a wardrobe and chest of drawers.
OUTSIDE
Sea House is in one of the best locations in Suffolk with the popular Anchor pub opposite and the village green with playground, shops, beach and harbour around the corner. This charming holiday cottage is set back from the road with a lawned front garden where you can sit on the bench and watch the world go by. The bigger back garden sits across the gravel drive with a gate making it secure for children, and a table and chairs so you can enjoy al fresco dining. Parking for two cars is also at the back and there’s a path leading to the kitchen, back and bedroom doors.

Lovely house. In great location. Only problem was the showers. 3 showers in the property. If someone was in any shower the other 2 wouldn’t work. No water flow. Pointless having 3 showers!! If you can’t use them at the same time.

Sea House was a real home from home .. I took my four children and my son’s girlfriend on my own and felt completely safe and comfortable. I chose this house as it reminded me of my Grandmothers house in Sidmouth, Devon and it truly felt like I was 7 years old again … brought back so many happy memories. The house itself is beautiful, so homely and welcoming with everything you need close to hand. The location is perfect with a short walk to the beach and shops and pubs. The Deli is an absolute must ! I’ve been visiting Walberswick since a child and always loved the village. With 4 neurodivergent children, who hate travelling too far in the car, meant this was the most perfect mini break for us! We could walk everywhere ! We got to witness the rising of the Strawberry Moon, swam in the sea at 10pm and browsed the wonderful shops .. it was so peaceful and calm .. many happy memories made ! We will be back ! Thank you xx

Sea House is delightful, we really enjoyed our stay. The house is well organised and very comfortable and the 6 of us had plenty of space.

A fantastic property in a lovely location. The house is perfectly positioned in the village for the beach, pubs, shops, etc. The house had everything we needed for our long weekend stay (six adults, one kid). Spacious bedrooms, living spaces, and bathrooms. Recommend.

Absolutely beautiful house in a gorgeous location. The house is spacious, so well equipped, and beautifully set out. There were 4 couples in our party and each room is comfortable. 3 bathrooms ensure that you are not all fighting for bathroom time. The kitchen and dining facilities ensure that you can cater for any type of meal and sit altogether to enjoy your labour. Walberswick is beautiful and from the house there is easy access to the beach, shops and walks right from the door. Spacious parking for 2 vehicles also. We will definitely be returning . Thank you

A huge thank you for hosting us in this beautiful Walberswick property. The house was clean and fresh, and was perfectly set up for us in terms of sleeping arrangements, living space and kitchen facilities. The two gardens were a bonus, and the short walk to the beach plus plentiful choices for walking routes were exactly what we wanted. The local pubs were both charming, as was our day in Southwold (recommend the lighthouse tour hosted by Adnams). A very restorative time was had by all!

A very easy, warm, comfortable, clean & well presented house in a beautiful location. Couldn’t really ask for anything more. Lovely welcome basket on arrival, with everything laid out perfectly. Views of the sea from the cosy lounge, and one of the nicest pubs literally a few steps across the road - it really has everything.

Nice location. Quiet and close to walks, pubs and beach. Really well equipped. Very clean. Nice decor and felt very comfortable for our group of 8 adults. One of the nicest Airbnb’s I’ve stayed at. Thank you to all involved in getting this so right!
