It is exceptionally peaceful, and the sea can often be heard. This is a “Dark Sky” area, so the night skies are amazing with very little pollution so sit back and look out for those shooting stars and make a wish.
You can step outside onto a network of footpaths and bridleways, or easily explore the area on your bike. There is a secluded "Woof" walk where you can happily let your dog off lead to enjoy the countryside. The area is steeped in history and there is plenty of information in the Dunwich Museum.

Track may be rough after heavy rain.
The garden is large but can be overrun with wildlife despite the secure fences
Deer are prevalent in the area so please check your pet for ticks – leaflet and tick removal on notice board in the larder

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the house was clean & we appreciated the welcoming treats. The garden was large & fully enclosed, our dogs had a great time. Great location for walks to Dunwich Heath & the NT cafe.
We had a fantastic time at Mount Pleasant Farm. The house was just right for all the family aged from 2 to over 60! The garden was wonderful, the location was great and we loved it that the beach was a 25 minute walk through the National Trust heathland, and we could hear curlews in the evenings. The house was well equipped and very clean and had everything that we needed. Many thanks for a great time - we will definitely plan to come back again.
Beautiful property, amazing walks right on the doorstep.
Lovely property in a great location. Would definitely stay there again in the future.

Lovely, traditional Farm House set in beautiful surroundings with easy walking routes to nearby Nature reserves, historical land marks and Coastline. Ample living space for up to eight guests with comfortable, clean sleeping quarters and bedding. Everything you could possibly need supplied in the property including lots of local information and recommendations for easy to reach hostelries and dining. There were some areas that could have been cleaner such as the microwave and windows and there were noticeable cobwebs hanging from ceilings and behind furniture but none of this detracted from the enjoyment of our stay. The only other thing of note was the terrible wi-fi connection! The property is very rural so this might be expected but I also live very rural and have an excellent signal strength. I do think that this is something that likely needs to be addressed. We did have a lovely time, slept well and felt generally very comfortable and I would not hesitate in visiting again.
