This characterful barn dating from 1800 is grade 2 listed and as part of the permission for conversion used many reclaimed materials. The property welcomes you into a front porch leading into the well-equipped kitchen-diner that has everything you'd need to enjoy a meal at home after a day out exploring the coast.

Both bedrooms have the shared use of a family bathroom with a shower bath, wash basin and WC.

At the other end of the cottage is a cosy living room with a Chesterfield sofa and armchairs, TV, electric fireplace, bookshelves and French doors out onto the patio.

There is a fantastic, newly renovated annex at the end of the garden benefitting from a double sofa bed, wood burner, TV and en-suite shower room, making it a perfect space for an additional one or two guests.

Outside there is a rear patio with a garden table and chairs as well as an outdoor sofa and swing chair where you can enjoy an evening drink and meal during the summer months.

Accommodation great v clean well equipped, garden needs some attention and maybe should say the property is behind a Chinese takeaway with lots of activity with collections and noise from extractor fan. Otherwise we had a lovely time

Me and my family had a lovely stay recently. The accommodation had a great amount of facilities and was equipped very well . The location is spot on with everything you’d like to do and see not being far away at all. Especially Southwold. The village itself is nice and quiet. Also a lovely beach not too far away down the road . Finally the Chinese right next door is definitely a bonus and I highly recommend it. If available we will 100% stay here again when we visit the family as we do often .

This is a very nicely refurbished building with a lovely secluded garden and annex. The kitchen contains everything that you will need and the lounge is a nice place to sit at night. Beds and bathroom were comfortable and clean. The area is perfect for exploring the Suffolk coast and we spent a lovely day in Southwold one day and walked the dog to Covehithe beach and back the other. There are two decent pubs within 10 minutes walking distance. We didn't meet the hosts but their communication was excellent and there ere no problems with checking in and enjoying our stay. Would Definately recommend.
