You're welcomed directly into the living area of this delightful open
holiday home. The living/kitchen/dining room has been well-designed with kitchen units wrapping around one corner, housing an electric oven, four-ring induction hob and slimline dishwasher. Additionally, there's a free-standing Nespresso coffee machine (please bring your own pods), a kettle and a toaster.
The sturdy dining table with four chairs allows you to dine at home and a sofa, armchair, nest of tables and a hall table complete the furnishings with entertainment in a Smart Samsung TV with BBC iPlayer etc. The chic wood burner is an added bonus, a starter pack will be provided but you may want to bring more logs for your stay.
FIRST FLOOR
Carpeted stairs with handrails on either side rise directly into the first-floor bedroom which has painted wooden floors. Doors open into the separate shower room.
BEDROOM
A gorgeous room with king size bed, a little chair, ample storage in a chest of drawers, two bedside units and a few hangers for your clothes. Sitting in the corner is a beautiful free-standing slipper bath.
SHOWER ROOM
Through a folding door, you’ll find this compact room with a full-sized shower cubicle with a handheld shower on a wall attachment, a wash basin with storage beneath, a WC, a heated towel rail (towels are provided) and a window giving natural light.
OUTSIDE
This detached holiday home is located near the owners' house in an idyllic setting down a no through road on the edge of the village of Benhall, so you can make the most of the surrounding countryside with all the attractions of the Suffolk Coast and Countryside just a short drive away; including the picturesque seaside town of Aldeburgh which is just a 10-minute drive. There's secure parking for your car on the gravel drive and a bistro-style table with a couple of chairs where you can soak up the sun and listen to the birds. The closest town is Saxmundham where you'll find supermarkets, independent shops, restaurants and The Bell Hotel. There are a number of country pubs nearby, including The Chequers in Friston and, if you'd rather walk and meet some of the locals you can try the Benhall and Sternfield ex-serviceman’s village social club in School Lane. One dog is allowed to stay and you'll find an external shower for it, due to the size of the property it's probably best not to bring a Great Dane!
Log burner was really cosy. Comfortable bed. Well equipped.
A comfortable and peaceful place to stay. Very clean and tidy with everything we needed and a great location for visiting Aldeburgh, Orford & Snape Maltings.
We had a lovely weekend break at The Little Honey Pot. The accomodation was perfect. Clean and comfortable. We loved the cosiness of it all . The log burner was ideal for a wet & windy autumn weekend .
Wonderful secluded spot and perfect small place for 2-3 night away Very safe. Tucked away Amazing how the owners have created such a large bedroom above and single reception / kitchen / lounge room on entry level from a small footprint. Worked very well Great decor too. Very chilled
The accommodation was very comfortable, within easy reach of Snape and Aldburgh.
The Little Honey Pot is a lovely place to stay , clean , tidy and nicely decorated , perfect for 2 people , situated down a quiet cul de sac , Julie the host was very welcoming. information pack very helpful. Southwold , Dunwich , Aldeburgh and Thorpeness beaches are all within a short drive .
We had a lovely stay at Little Honey Pot. It was a special Anniversary so this was perfect for our stay. It was immaculate, well presented & exceptionally clean. The place was beautifully furnished to a high standard. We loved the open planned living space, which was very spacious. But still felt cosy & homely. We loved the free standing bath in the bedroom, & the shower was great too. There was everything we needed for our 2 night stay. The fact we could bring our well behaved dog was a good plus point as well. I would definitely recommend Little Honey Pot to stay & would love to return again.
We visited for the Easter long weekend with our pup and had a lovely stay. The bed was very comfortable and there’s a great kitchen that’s fully equipped with everything you could need. It was very clean and modern. There isn’t really a garden which was a shame but lots of nice walks and pretty houses on the doorstep - Aldeburgh beach is also only 15 mins away in the car. Although dog friendly, they are not allowed upstairs or on the furniture so not ideal for nervous dogs like ours who kept us up all night!
Great place to stay in a good location. Welcoming and beautiful place! Would highly recommend
