1 baths Tucked away on North Green, Olivers is a sweet, cosy cottage set back from the road making it a peaceful spot, yet only a short walk to all that Southwold has to offer.
Open the front door and step into the bright and cosy lounge with a TV, two, 2-seater sofa to snuggle on and watch a film, or relax with a book after a day at the beach, and an open fire, for those chilly winter evenings.
This leads into the dining room with a table and chairs to comfortably seat 4, should you wish to dine in.
This flows nicely into the well equipped galley kitchen, with washing machine, fridge (with ice box compartment), electric hob and oven, microwave, kettle and toaster.
At the end of the ground floor is the family bathroom with WC, wash basin, bath with shower over and heated towel rail. Dual aspect windows let in natural light.
The steep stairs lead to the 2 comfortable bedrooms.
Bedroom 1 looks out to the front of the house, with light flooding in through the windows, it has a double bed, 2 bedside tables, wardrobe and chest of drawers
Bedroom 2 looks out to the courtyard garden and has two single beds, a bedside table and a hand basin.
At the rear, there is a courtyard garden with table and chairs where you can enjoy your morning coffee in the sun, dine al fresco or just relax with a glass of your favourite tipple.
Enjoyed our stay, it’s an easy walk into town and to all the local amenities. The cottage was as described and lovely and clean. Only points of note are, if you have not got great mobility, the stairs are very steep. Lack of parking also not ideal, took us quite a while to find on street parking close to the property.
Lovely weekend stay with friends. Fantastic location, house clean and with all the amenities needed for our stay. Absolutely would stay here again next time we visit!
Great little cottage, very close to beaches and town. Private and comfortably furnished, with all the amenities necessary for an enjoyable stay. As was well described in the listing, the stairs are challenging and those with any mobility issues would be advised to take careful note of this. Overall a great stay and Southwold is a gorgeous quintessentially English resort,; fantastic town, great eateries, shops and interesting places to visit. Would definitely stay again.
We’ve loved our stay at Oliver’s! Really sweet little place and was perfect for our family of 4. The only thing I would note is that my husband is 6”2 and he struggled not hitting his head on doorframes upstairs!
Fabulous little cottage in an excellent location close to the many wonderful shops, cafes and restaurants that Southwold offers. The cottage is compact but well equipped and was a great base for two friends. Parking was easy to find nearby and it was great to be able to unload at the property.
A good stay
Typical southwold cottage. Walking distance to see Great seaside feeling
Comfortable and cosy, perfect location for a restful few days.
We had to phone the agent as we didn’t realise we were trying to access the wrong key safe !!!!
