We had a lovely stay at Fen cottage, location superb, walkable everywhere and the cottage was fabulously equipped with everything you’ll need to make yourselves at home. We wanted to try the EV charger but with my car having BMW tech, the computer said no but it seemed ready to go for any other EV. Very enjoyable stay, lovely communicative hosts, we will be back!

Lovely, wholesome place to stay with beautiful artwork and an admirable eco approach to living. Location was outstanding, couldn’t have asked to be in a nicer spot in Walberswick.

Lovely house. Needs a 2nd toilet. We were 4 ladies. House cold on arrival but after an emergency call the heating was put on remotely. It would have been better for it to have been warm on arrival and that we had access to a thermostat. The fixed mirror in the big back bedroom is in an inconvenient place in an alcove behind a curtain. The twin bedroom needs a mirror. The microwave is rather high up. Otherwise all good. .

A lovely little house with great Suffolk artwork and everything you need. Small garden with lots of visiting birds. Cows over the way and very close to the beach. A bit tricky to find after dark due to lack of streetlights but we managed it. Had two very good meals at The Anchor in Walberswick. Recommend Dunwich museum (compact but very interesting) and The Red House in Aldeburgh - where we were delighted to see a seal swimming in the sea. We will be back.

A wonderful stay in a lovely cottage in a wonderful location - quiet, comfortable, well-equipped. We had everything we needed for a perfect mini-break, and prompt and helpful communication from our hosts. We can't recommend the experience enough. Thank you!

Fen cottage is in a fantastic location 10 mins to shop/beach/pubs and is a quirky old cottage with an EV charger which was great. We loved the pottery and books.

We loved the fact that this little cottage was only minutes from the green and the beach . And that it was clean . All was well apart from the fact the photos had been taken with a wide angle lens and it was much smaller than it looked in the photos although we didn’t expect it to be large bring a cottage . It was disappointing to be hemmed in on both sides so tightly by other properties that can’t be seen from the photos and when we parked the car there was no room outside at the little table to sit and no room for our other car which needed to be parked at the beach at £5 a day . I like to be positive but it would put me off staying again .

Fantastic location - close to pubs, tea rooms deli and the beach - all within a few minutes walk. Lovely cottage - all mod cons - beds very comfy - off-street parking - EV charger was a bonus!
