A lovely property ideally suited to explore Suffolk. Snape Maltings 5 mins away, and so particularly good if going to a concert. Our host was very friendly and informative - overall, a great experience.
The stables was ideal for the two of us plus one dog. Nice interior, very clean with everything you need. Easy access to country walks and the village of Snape with pubs and the Maltings. Would stay again. Thanks.
We stayed at the ‘Stables’ for 2 nights as visiting the food and drink festival. This is a perfect t location with a 15/20minute walk to Snape Maltings and the few pubs. The property was perfect for us, and had everything with needed and very clear instructions. Had the pleasure of meeting Sophie who provided some places to visit nearby. Perfect location with parking.
Lovely property and hosts. Really made an effort with extra touches like a birthday banner, toys for kids and a fresh loaf of bread. We had an issue with the fridge being turned off and they resolved it right away. We had a dog and it was quite hard not being able to let her off to go out to the toilet, as the space was not enclosed. My one bug bear was that the towels are small, and a bath sheet would be a nicer touch, to a really lovely bathroom. The location for exploring is really great. Bed is massive and so comfy! We would return x
Comfortable stay close to several places we wanted to visit.
Comfortable and spacious for 2 people with a very comfortable bed. However there are extra charges for cot/ high chair and fan which in our experience have been supplied as standard if required.
Very comfortable property with everything we needed for our short stay
Lovely place, great location and great for the dog.
We enjoyed our stay here, everything was as described. The place was very spacious for us (2 adults and toddler and dog!) and the bed was as others have said- super comfy! The only negatives I would say is the lack of enclosed garden was a pain for the dog as I couldn’t just let her out and there’s such a busy road nearby which you do hear but never bothered us as we’re used to traffic noise. Perhaps just note if you’re expecting really rural calm and quiet you might be disappointed. Everything worked as it should and the place was clean. Ample parking and near to exploring Aldeburgh and Snape.

We loved staying here. It’s within a 25 minute walk to Snape Maltings and a 10 minute drive to Aldeburgh. The barn had everything we needed and was super clean. We thought the homemade bread left for us was a lovely touch.
