LOCATION
Reydon is a modern thriving rural community just over a mile inland from the picturesque town of Southwold on the Suffolk Coast. It has it’s own rich and colourful smuggling history but nowadays you can buy your alcohol and groceries from one of the two local stores or enjoy a delicious dining experience at The Randolph hotel. There are also lots of walks through Reydon woods filled with bluebells in late spring or on the marshland that sits alongside the Blyth estuary which is a haven for wildlife and filled with sea lavender in the summer months.
A lovely house. With two kids we appreciated the large garden and the ping pong table. The kitchen was a good size and was well equipped.
This is a great accomodation for a sizeable party - We were 8 of us so to the full capacity. It has a beautiful garden facing the sea and plenty of summer party, barbeque amenities. The place is set in a quiet neighbourhood yet so close to the Southwold pier (walkable really) and the beautiful Southwold village. So the location is lovely, with the parking for two cars. The bedrooms and the bathrooms were set up in pristine condition, upon arrival. We had a fantastic stay and our party of teenager boys had a great time too.
A well equipped holiday home, within a 20 minutes walk to beach with a large garden for children plus a table tennis table and games for wet days. The parking on the drive was limited but road parking was fine.
Despite the few issues mentioned we had a lovely stay. Very comfy beds. Enough indoor seating for 6 of us. The grass was eventually cut on our 2nd last day in the evening. Lots of garden seating but no cushions for us oldies. We would definitely recommend but don’t expect 5 star. This is reflected in the very reasonable price . Yes we would return. Appreciated early entry to property.
A perfect holiday house for our family of three generations Easy walking distance to Southwold and the garden is a great space for little cricketers Would defiantly recommend and book again
Great!
Excellent stay from the Ward family. Property was spacious and spotless. Thank you.
Nice clean house as described. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable chairs and sofas. Bed in en suite room very lumpy and uncomfortable, All the toillet seats were lose.
We were a 3 generation family and loved the property. The large quiet garden was great for the children and the 2 lounges ideal for the adults. Best of all was the location, close to Southwold. We would love to return.
