Heartsease is a well-loved little cottage in the heart of rural Suffolk – perfectly located for exploring the beautiful coast and the countryside that the county has to offer.
Dating back to the 18th century, the cottage has traditional beams throughout the house as well as log burners. With a spacious garden, three bedrooms and two living rooms, it is an ideal spot for a family or couples. Located in the village of Dallinghoo (which is just outside of Wickham Market) with many footpaths on its doorstep, it is a perfect place to relax and unwind in the Suffolk countryside.
The nearby Wickham Market is a lovely town with an award-winning butcher as well as a supermarket, post office, newsagents, café and more. The cottage is also close to the A12 so you can explore nearby towns such as Woodbridge and Framlingham very easily and the popular coastal locations of Aldeburgh, Orford and Southwold are also just half an hour away.
Well-behaved pets are also very welcome at Heartsease!

We would definitely stay here again as the house and location are beautiful. However, the property is in need of some TLC throughout, along with a thorough clean everywhere. It would be such a shame to let it continue to deteriorate when it has so much potential. Even small things would make a big difference, such as cleaning and oiling the garden furniture, and providing proper cushions for it. The microwave and dishwasher were not in full working order, not all of the lights throughout the house work, and the blind in one of the bedrooms was broken. Unable to use the TV in the lounge near the front door as Chromecast was discontinued in 2024. The patio slabs also need attention, and all garden areas would benefit from general maintenance. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would return, but the property would really benefit from some care and upkeep.

A very easy , comfortable stay at Heart’s Ease Cottage, the accommodation worked well for 3 adults and two children. Location was very good for us. Liked all the games supplied for children. Kitchen implements were good.

Great location, lovely property, but a little tired in some places but that didn’t bother us. Could have benefited from a bbq and the lawn being cut and deweeded. Dogs loved it though. Would definitely come back and use Stay In Suffolk again

Fantastic stay with the family. Spacious property, nice and private, close to the coast for trips out (plan ahead for sandy beaches if you have little ones that like to dig), great sized garden, my husband is 6ft 3in and he soon got used to the lower ceiling heights upstairs so it wasn’t an issue at all. A very enjoyable stay overall.
