On arrival we found rubbish left behind and some places hadn’t been cleaned thoroughly. The beds hadn’t been made up as requested but ‘Stay in Suffolk’ were approachable and responsive to our complaint. The house is spacious well equipped and in a beautiful setting, it would have been perfect without the rocky start
wonderful location. fantastic food options within a 20 mins drive. will be back.
Great stay kids felt like they had lots of space and we were not all on top of each other ! Close to lots of Great places :)
A gorgeous cottage in a tranquil location. The only negatives were the terrible mattresses on the single beds and bunk beds, they really do need new ones! Also, some parts, like the entrance hall and one of the showers, could do with a deep clean. Fantastic kitchen and front room. We would definitely highly recommend once those mattresses are changed! Great communication throughout, thank you.
we really enjoyed out short break at Ferry Corner cottage, which was well equipped and spacious. The big. fully enclosed garden was ideal for our 2 dogs. Scenery is beautiful, and the nearby villages were pretty with period buildings. local pubs a bit too far to walk to, but served good food and had friendly atmosphere. We loved Covehithe, a quiet, sandy beach and Dunwich forest, which were about 45 minutes drive away, but worth it. We would stay here again!
A real escape from it all, standing in an area of peace and quiet. Allowing one to reflect and encounter the natural sounds and wonders of the countryside. The natural grown garden included many interesting trees and shrubs for plant lovers to enjoy and the wild life. (A barn owl, marsh and squirrel came to visit!) As we had young children with us it would have been lovely for them if the tree house had been repaired for them to enjoy. But all in all an enjoyable break.
Overall very nice holiday home but tired in some areas . Recently refurbished to high standard, with a contemporary vibe! Matched pictures inside & out. Quality kitchen equipment, crockery, glassware etc. Quality kitchen and Lounge furniture but bed frames a little tired although mattresses comfortable. Slight odour throughout cottage; could be pets, damp or both? Slight signs of damp in bathrooms. Bedding all crisp but not best quality duvets (thin/lumpy). Peaceful setting & great wildlife (foxes, squirrels, owls). Plenty space for kids, dogs but messy uneven farm tracks to the property.
Absolutely loved our stay. A really nice layout property and plenty of space even with 6 adults, a child and 3 dogs. Communal area was huge with plenty of seating and the kitchen a really good size also. The garden is enclosed and a really good size however the grass is very long and the garden as a whole definitely needs some maintenance outside! However once you step inside the property, it was very clean and homely. Location was ideal and lots of walks nearby, sea only a short drive away too. Can’t wait to come back again!
A peaceful remote property with plenty of outside space. We had a family get together here. Plenty of room for the kids to run around. An added bonus to have 3 bathrooms and plenty of parking. Friendly and responsive host.

We had a lovely family time staying at this property. There was a couple of problems but comms were fantastic and did their best to fix etc. Wonderful stay despite the odd hiccup HIGHLY recommended.
