Lovely little cottage. Everything fine, beds, hot water, equipment, heating etc. Dishwasher not very efficient (first world problem!). Went to Chapel Road Cafe over the road for brunch, very nice food. Caught the bus to Southwold very convenient. Covehithe very nice. Parking onsite for small car but other parking options nearby.
Lovely Airbnb
We really enjoyed our stay here. The cottage was beautifully clean, well maintained, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect and the host was welcoming and easy to communicate with. We’d happily return and recommend to others. A great spot for our winter get away!
Lovely Christmas stay - thank you
We were travelling for a wedding and this was located perfectly for us. Just as in pictures. Lovely cottage , very comfortable and clean
Ideal for the length of our stay. A welcome pack would have been nice, also the tiny, tiny bottle of washing up liquid that was left for guests felt a little mean.
Such a lovely stay to celebrate my friend's birthday. Very cute little stay and very close to Southwold and other beautiful seaside locations. Felt very homely and would recommend.
This was exactly what I expected, a little English cottage. The walk to the beach was lovely (except for a bit of pig farming where there were a few flies about, and you see the free range pigs). It was nice and cool when I stayed at night, so the cottage cooled of quickly when I came in. It was an easy bus ride there from the train station (Lowestoft) on the 99 and an easy bus ride to Southwold. The front room is right on the road so there is a bit of traffic noise during the day but it quiets down at night. I suggest walking to Benacre Broad (north) from Covehithe beach. If you like walking you can walk home from Southwold using the sideroads (zig zagging) between the B1127 and the A12. It takes about 2.5 hours but is pretty and if you come out on South Cove Road and the B1127 there is a grassy shoulder (luckily just cut when I was there) that gets you to the sidewalk in Wrentham. The busses can be off schedule so be prepared.
A good little cottage. Compact but completely adequate for our visit. Clean and tidy. Clear instructions and good value. Would recommend.
