Nice but not worth the money. I can only compare it to what other airbnbs have charged and look like. First Airbnb out of 25 that did not have proper shower gel and for the price it’s not really acceptable. 2 cheap minis aren’t adequate. There are normally pumps in the showers. I also thought the photos made it look bigger than it is. It should be £150 a night max and definitely not charge for a later check out. Thats a first for us too. 10am is too early. Over £400 in gets a thumbs down. It’s managed by an agent who are not quick too quick enough to respond too.

A cosy and comfortable cottage for the two of us. Both bedrooms were a decent size and the beds very comfortable. The outside space was small but very welcome. There is a step from the lounge to the kitchen, and a couple of steep steps from the kitchen to the little courtyard. It was a short stroll into town for cafes and pubs (we ate well at the Angel) , and The Cut arts centre for an interesting exhibition. We learned a lot about the history of Halesworth in the museum which is at the railway station. We also enjoyed a walk through the town park to Millennium Green. Away from Halesworth we visited the seaside at Southwold, and also two vineyards - Valley Farm at Wissett and Flint near Bungay.

A lovely spot for a weekend away. The place was very clean, as described in the listing - the beds were very comfy. We really liked Halesworth and would stay here again.

Candy Cottage was great for a restful weekend in Halesworth. Perfectly clean. Comfy beds. Everything we needed. We loved Halesworth and the surrounding area. Rhubarb and Rose is the friendliest cafe I’ve ever experienced. If your a regular Airbnb user you need to know this one has a management company . Stay Suffolk. So non of the more personal niceties like milk in the fridge or home baked cookies. Not even soap in the bathroom. Having said that we loved it.
