Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lovely property, well equipped, clean and tidy. Lovely and spacious. Welcome pack was a lovely touch. Great peaceful location, only 15 minute walk to Aldeburgh High Street with plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants. Lovely walk along the beach to Thorpeness.

Our stay was good, as mentioned the house was clean and tidy and had all the amenities described, I would say though that the house was tired and needed decorating to spruce it up and we notice that the house is up for sale, so we imagine that the care hasn't been there because of this. The area is quiet and a 15 minute walk into town which is an easy walk but the location isn't in the best part of the town if I am honest. The second bedroom didn't have a wardrobe so wouldn't be any good if you was staying for longer than a short break, although the drawer storage was ok. The bed in the second bedroom seemed broken and the mattress was uncomfortable, and this impacted our sleep. The seating area in the lounge is minimal, the two settee's are small and suitable only for 3 people, if there was the 5 of you in the room at the same time, there wouldn't be anywhere for the other 2 people to sit without a serious squash. I would probably say this is about a 3.7/3.8 out of 5 rather than a 4*

We felt at home the moment we walked through the door. The house was clean and spacious. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were comfortable. There were bins in the bathrooms and bedrooms! Makes a big difference. The showers worked well, not power showers but lovely and hot. TV was huge and had a good selection of channels, To have 2 parking spaces that close to the town is a real bonus! We really enjoyed our stay, so relaxing, we have visited Aldeburgh many times and this house was a real gem! We hope to revisit again in the future.

Lovely stay in Aldeburgh, house was around a 15 minutes walk into town and had a pub/ shop and cafe all within a few minutes walk. Hosts left very clear instructions and advice on the local area which proved to be very helpful. House was as described in good condition and provided all the essentials for a nice stay!

Great stay, the property worked well for us. Very comfortable with everything we needed. 2 parking spaces outside the property was fantastic, great short walk into town or to the beach.

My husband and I brought my mum here for a Christmas trip. It was a lovely house, all the kitchen gadgets you could want to create a perfect Christmas meal. Tesco express close by in case you forget anything. Beach only 15 minutes walk where you can get the freshest of fish. Lovely little town with plenty to see and do. Very comfortable beds and fluffy towels. I would absolutely stay here again.

Our stay at this property was pleasant enough for a short break for a couple of days over half term with our 2 kids and 2 dogs. The location is perfect for visits in to Aldeburgh and the surrounding villages - the bakery in Aldeburgh, Harris & James Gelato and the chip shop that opens in the evening was a particular highlight. There were a few small, frustrating things that prevented us from giving this property a 5 star review, which I'll follow up with the host for.
