Perfect few days with my bestie . Calm and peaceful .
Very smart and comfy house with lots of space and fab view from upstairs bedroom window
Brilliant location next to the beach and at the centre of Aldeburgh. The house was really well fitted out with quality fittings and furniture. Lovely underfloor heating. All of the photos are realistic … in fact it’s better in real life than the photos. Everything worked, everything was lovely. It was worth the money. Make sure that you read about the parking , we got street parking for free approx 200 meters away and then were able to park near the property for free on our last day. It really is a lovely place !
We had a great week in aldeburgh. The kids loved how close we were to the beach and the accommodation was really nice. The surrounding area was also great. Haven’t been to that part of Suffolk before but wouldn’t hesitate to go back again
The place itself was lovely, beautiful property and would definitely stay here again. A couple of factors dropped the rating however, as below: The front gate catches on the floor as you open it, meaning you have to really drag it on the floor to open or lift it up each time, bit of a pain in the backside. I asked the host for help on closing the blinds on the top floor so the sun wasn't beaming in when my daughter was napping, to which they didn't know how they worked, they did try to help but advice didn't work unfortunately. The hoover wasn't working, we ended up sweeping at the end of the stay. When stripping the beds at the end of the stay, the mattress was covered in human hair (not animal, sheets were clean but felt a little icky. All in all, the place is lovely to stay but a couple of improvements could be made.
This property is perfect for anyone visiting Aldeburgh and wishing to walk to all that this wonderful town has to offer. The two bedrooms have great views to sit with a cup of tea or coffee in the morning and the lounge kitchen is great for the morning to sit at the bay front and if weather allows open the bay doors and listen to the sea whilst having breakfast and reading and relaxing for the day ahead. You are very close to Snape and Thorpness and not too far from Southwold and many other towns. Parking is not an issue and if you are lucky you can park directly outside if you are fortunate to arrive when a space is available If not then free parking is only a short walk away by the White Lion Hotel and you can pick up some cracking smoke fish to have for Breakfast if you wish.
Great location and good price, though off season. Would be good if there were some toiletries but otherwise great stay
Great location and well equipped property. Nicely maintained. Path to the door of the property is really dark so have a torch to hand if accessing after hours.
We had an amazing time in Aldeburgh! The property was spotless, stylish, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to the beach, lovely shops, and fantastic restaurants. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making check-in and communication effortless. We especially loved the cozy touches and the peaceful atmosphere. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy the charm of Aldeburgh. We can’t wait to come back!
