Really lovely stay and nice house & garden. Close to the beach about 10 min walk. Is a beach with stones, to note if taking small children. Thanks !

Nice house, good position, comfortable sofas and beds, great pillows. Lacking in some kitchen items- no sink plug or washing up bowl, short on condiments, only one frying pan, no towel in the downstairs toilet. Needs some TLC. Dining chairs really uncomfortable as they need seat pads.

Fab stay in Hillcrest house. Perfect for two families, with lots of space for small children. Large bedrooms and bunk beds big success. Separate dining room was huge bonus. Would definitely recommend and love to return.

We had a great stay at Hillcrest - family of 3 plus a large dog. The house is very spacious and has pretty much everything we needed. Lovely large lounge with a good selection of TV channels/apps. Also, kids games and LEGO duplo were a great surprise to our son. Kitchen is warm and bright, well equipped. Could do with some extra teaspoons, spatulas and possibly a doormat for the garden doors - very minor and can easily do without. Upstairs, good size bedrooms with very comfy beds. Garden is secure and ideal for our dog, there’s a hose so we were able to clean our dog after a walk/sea swim which was a bonus. Great area, 5 min walk to the High Street and the beach, tennis courts, playground behind the tennis courts, lots of public footpaths (great walk via the marshes towards the beach). We enjoyed Aldeburgh Fish and Chips and the Thai place, both on the High Street. All in all, we had a great time, would certainly recommend! Thanks!

Lovely house with so much space! It was well cleaned. Only small thing would be as ever the kitchen stuff is variable in terms of cleanliness depending on how people have put things away. We also couldn’t figure the AGA out (never used one before). There is another small electric oven but you wouldn’t want to cook anything too complex! the garden furniture was not cleaned and needed a good wipe down before you could use it. But really just niggles as we would 100% stay here again. We had a couple of small problems with one of the showers and stay in Suffolk responded within an hour and had someone to the house fixing it which was amazing. The location of this place is fabulous. Few mins to beach and to town with loads of lovely cafes and bakeries. Highly highly recommend both the house and the area. We loved it! Thank you Stay In Suffolk team.

Beautiful holiday home on a private road. Very comfortable and well stocked. A couple of maintenance issues which have been mentioned previously but nothing to spoil the holiday. The garden was tidy and a great space for us and our dog, and we were visited by a deer which was a lovely bonus ! We enjoyed walks along the estuary nearby and a stroll to the cafes and fish shacks in the town. Would definitely return .

Beautiful Big house in a peaceful neighbourhood. Had everything we needed for a few days away as a family. Would definitely book a holiday with Stay in Suffolk again

We absolutely loved the house, plenty of space and a very good layout. The location was great too, close to town but on a very quiet road. We had an issue with the garden on arrival, the grass was extremely long and unkempt which was disappointing. However this was sorted and a gardener arrived on the Monday to tidy up the front and back garden. The house was very well equipped in the kitchen, and the beds were really comfortable. A couple of things we noticed however - the outside furniture was very old (and pretty uncomfortable) and the slats in the table were broken. Also the shower hose in the main bathroom needs replacing. But overall we had a great week, lovely house and fab weather. We may even go back next year ☺️

Great location - very quiet road, but so close to High Street and beach. I enjoyed a morning stroll to Two Magpies for a coffee that I took to the beach to drink. Pizza from the Pizzeria at The White Hart was fab. Great walks in the area.
