It is perfectly located in an idyllic rural spot with an award-winning gastro pub only a short walk away as well as being only a 10 minute drive from the market town of Woodbridge, situated on the River Deben with an excellent selection of pubs, restaurants and other amenities.

The stay here was wonderful! It was just as described. It was a little warm but they were kind enough to leave us a fan. And the door for the balcony opens to let cool air in at night so it felt wonderful!

Beautiful, comfortable place for 2, in a lovely setting next to a large pond with ample parking. Gorgeously decorated & fitted out, with care taken to showcase the building's heritage but with all modern comforts. Was great to see the photos of the transformation! We had a lovely 4 day stay - was great to meet you. Helen - we loved it & The Stables will now be our go to place when we're visiting our family in Woodbridge! Highly recommended!

A beautifully renovated stable with real character and charm. Inside is attractive and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen and lovely furniture. The pretty courtyard setting is peaceful with a great variety of flowering plants and salvaged pieces. Perfect for sitting out next to the pond and listening to the wildlife.

We had a lovely stay in the Stables. It was quiet and perfectly set up with everything we needed. The hosts were friendly and the location was close to the beautiful towns of Orford and Woodbridge. Even with changeable weather it was a perfect mid-week break.

What a wonderfully relaxing 4 night stay at The Stables. We were welcomed by John to The Stables which was warm, clean and very homely with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The decor was delightful! A fabulous base to explore the Suffolk coast from Minsmere and Dunwich Heath, beautiful Woodbridge, Snape Maltings and Orford to name a few. Beautiful walks in nature and river boat trips. We would not hesitate to recommend The Stables to anyone Thank you John and Helen x

We absolutely loved our winter stay at The Stables. It was beautiful both inside and out. The location was perfect! Surrounded by stunning countryside, yet within easy driving distance of pretty villages and the coast. The nearby pubs, The Unruly Pig and The Greyhound Inn, were fantastic and served excellent food. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived, and it was a much-needed cosy winter escape. We would 100% love to stay again!
