The space

Step into the light and airy bungalow set in beautiful countryside, yet within a 10 minute drive from the bustling market town of Halesworth with numerous pubs, restaurants and shops.
The bedrooms are at the front of the house:
Bedroom 1 has a 4ft6 double bed with 2 bedside tables, wardrobe and chest of drawers
Bedroom 2 has a 3ft single bed, a "chairbed", chest of drawers and a wardrobe.
The bathroom has a bath with shower over, WC and hand basin.
The open plan living room / kitchen / diner has a sofa, armchair and a Smart TV, table and 4 chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped with a 4-ring hob and oven, a fridge, freezer, microwave, washing machine, slimline dishwasher and Dualit café plus coffee pod machine. Double doors lead out to the generous sized fenced garden.
There is parking at the front of the property.
At the rear is a spacious garden, part paved and part laid to lawn, with garden furniture for al fresco dining where you can sip a glass of your favourite tipple and watch the horses grazing in the background. It’s an experience—a kind of grounded luxury, where nature, animals, and human connection all gently meet.

My friend and I loved everything about our stay in this gorgeous cottage. We were welcomed by John when we arrived and were thrilled with the clean and beautifully designed interior. Lovely peaceful garden with apple trees and views of the landscape was just what we needed to reset. We were even left some little foodie treats! Wish We'd had time to meet the horses in the stables next door but certainly loved hearing them trotting past and whinnying! We would definitely highly recommend 'The Old Dairy' and really hope to come back again someday soon. Miss it already!

We had a great stay at 'The Old Dairy'. The accommodation is very clean and comfortable with everything you need for a short break. Absolute gem ,such a beautiful setting, surrounded by nature, we loved the horses , and barn swallows was an absolute treat. Peaceful and quiet we had such a good sleep and rest from busy city. We had a wonderful stay at The Old Dairy! Wanted to escape from the city for a couple of days and it was exactly what we were looking for. So calm and peaceful! Lovely garden overlooking the Suffolk countryside. We were lucky to have beautiful weather during our stay. The cottage was spotlessly clean, comfortable and has everything you need. Seeing the horses come past was a real bonus! John is a very friendly and helpful host. There are lots of lovely villages nearby and it’s within an easy drive to the coast. Highly recommend and would certainly stay again, hopefully for longer next time. The only downside was having to come home!
