The Light House is a modernised 300 year old cottage that feels like home from home. Step into the welcoming entrance hall with coat hooks and a boot rack to leave all your bags, coats and shoes while you go and explore this beautiful house and garden.
There is also a downstairs cloakroom in this area.
The house flows perfectly, starting with the spacious lounge where there is a gas fire, two large comfy sofas, an armchair, coffee table and Smart TV. Two large windows bring in lots of natural light making this a lovely light and airy room. Original wooden beams maintain character, and makes it feel cosy.
Next is the open plan dining / kitchen area. A lovely relaxing space with a table and chairs, sofa and a "rocking" armchair. Bifold doors open onto the large, paved garden area bringing the outdoors in, a perfect space to enjoy your breakfast.
Ahead, is the fully equipped high spec galley style kitchen with an integrated full-size fridge / freezer, integrated dishwasher, eye level oven and microwave, an electric 4-ring Klarstein induction hob, toaster and kettle. Windows along the kitchen look out onto the garden and bring in lots of natural light.
At the end of the kitchen is a "garden room" with a table and chairs, a great space if you need to work during your stay, and also a great spot to sit and relax if the weather isn't playing ball !
Bifold doors open onto the generous sized fully enclosed garden which is paved and surrounded by beautiful plants and shrubs. There is a table and chairs and a gas barbecue (in the shed), and sun-loungers, the perfect space to dine al fresco with family and friends, or just relax with a glass of your favourite tipple and enjoy the view of the iconic light house.

This property is located a minutes walk away from Southwold beach and the high street home to many decent pubs, butcher and bakeries. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you'd need to cook a good meal and utilising the BBQ in the gorgeous flower filled garden was a treat. We had our daughter (high chair and cot provided by the property) and dog with us who also thoroughly enjoyed themselves!

Absolutely lovely cottage, beautifully decorated and appointed with lovely private patio and loads of space inside and out and literally a few metres from the nicest part of the front. Highly recommend
