1 baths Reydon is in a fantastic location, just a mile outside the popular seaside town of Southwold on the Suffolk Heritage Coast. As such, it is an ideal base for those wanting all the components of a seaside holiday cottage but in a more peaceful setting.
There is everything you’ll need for your holiday here, with two well-stocked grocery shops, selling essential items as well as locally produced fruit and veg, and an excellent local ‘watering hole’, The Randolph. For the more active, you can easily walk from your holiday cottage to the centre of Southwold where you can enjoy the beach huts, with their eclectic names and colourful paintwork, stop for a coffee on the Pier, climb the Lighthouse for the magnificent views, or simply wander along to the Harbour to buy some fresh fish at the harbour fish shacks or the Southwold Smokehouse – ask for a bag of ice to keep it cold for the walk home! If you can't be bothered to cook then just nip down to The Harbour Inn or The Nelson or The Boardwalk Restaurant at The Pier.
There are some great walks right on the doorstep: the ancient woodland of Reydon Woods for starters, as well as a walk across the River Blyth and Bailey Bridge to the charming seaside village of Walberswick. Stop off for a pint and a ploughman's or fish pie at The Bell Inn. Further down the coast, there is a stunning heathland, designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which sits under the auspices of the National Trust and RSPB Minsmere.

Clean and cosy, but with enough space. Great sun trap garden with herbs and flowers. We bought our own food to eat in. The location was good as it was quieter than being in Southwold and an easy walk in. Good communication and flexibility.

We chose the Coach House for its walkable distance to Southwold and for its charm and privacy. It certainly delivered all this and my daughter and I enjoyed our 2 night stay. It was cosy and comfortable. For a longer stay I would want a shower, a less tired kitchen and a larger bed but overall we were very happy.

What a lovely little place the coach house was, really cosy and well equipped. All very clean and tidy, really comfy bed and well equipped kitchen. Ideal setting for those wanting to be slightly away from the Southwolds which I can imagine gets crazy busy in the summer months. Easy 15 min walk in to the centre of Southwolds and beaches or a 25 minute walk across the marshland to the harbour and great fish outlets. Highly recommend a stay here for a lovely experience of this stunning area.

Super cottage in a private courtyard setting. Ideal for visiting Southwold and Walberswick and exploring the surrounding countryside. The Coach House has everything we needed for a relaxing four-night stay with our dog. Would definitely return.

Excellent place to stay. Great walks from the accommodation, and a totally enclosed garden for dog. Very clean and well equipped. Were able to cook many meals due to being well stocked with kitchen utensils and pans. Hosts were available and extremely helpful.

We had a lovely stay at the cottage, it’s really beautiful, spotlessly clean and so cosy, with everything we needed and lots of thoughtful little touches. We especially loved the log burner in the evenings. The bed was super comfy and the kitchen was well equipped. It’s only a short walk to The Randolph for a drink, and we also had a lovely visit to Southwold with many galleries, shops, cafes and pubs. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout. We’d love to stay again and would definitely recommend it.
