Stowaway Cottage is a well-loved holiday home tucked away from the hustle and bustle in between the high street and the seafront. A cosy cottage ideally suited to a family of four looking for a getaway in the popular seaside town of Aldeburgh. The beach is just outside on the doorstep, and you have the high street to the other side. A really great position to explore.

The stowaway is a perfect place for a weekend or a few days away. The location is perfect, out the door and 30 steps and you’re on Aldeburgh beach. And 2 minutes the other way you’re on the high street with everything you need there. If the chance arises I will use this place again. The only thing that can be improved is a description of the location, as the sat nav takes you right on the see front when the photos are taken on King Street, someone who’s not very good at navigating might find this awkward. And as a recommendation, if you’re older or struggle to go up stairs, this is not the place for you, the stairs will be awkward for somebody who struggles in that way, other than that. No problem at all!

Fantastic location once we found it. Clearer instructions would be helpful. Very small but close to the beach, very quiet and clean. Stairs are very steep and lots of them to get to the bedrooms so not suitable for everyone. A welcome pack would be nice or at least some milk in the fridge. Never stayed anywhere that hasn’t provided this. All in all great location for a short stay but wouldn’t recommend for longer.

Lovely little cottage all within walking distance of the beach and the high st. Absolutely cracking location. Very clean and tidy with everything you could need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. would highly recommend.
