There are great walks (and cycle rides) right on the doorstep: with secluded dog walking fields, the ancient woodland of Reydon Woods for starters, as well as a walk across the River Blyth and Bailey Bridge to the charming seaside village of Walberswick. Further down the coast, there is a stunning heathland, designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which sits under the auspices of the National Trust and RSPB Minsmere. After exploring the area, enjoy lunch or dinner in the numerous local pubs and restaurants, such as The Angel in Wangford with great food, friendly staff, and a cosy atmosphere. No frills, just a proper Suffolk welcome.
We had a lovely stay at Sedge Cottage Barn - thank you! It was just what we needed - a comfortable base to explore nearby Southwold, in peaceful and relaxing surroundings. The barn was comfortable and homely and the welcome pack was a nice touch.
Perfect location, spacious and comfortable
Lovely Apartment, tucked down a quiet country lane on the outskirts of Southwold.
Great place to stay, very comfy & welcoming. Beautiful area to explore
Really enjoyed our 3 nights at Sedgeford Cottage. The Cottage was immaculately presented and had everything we needed for our stay. The shower is great and the bed comfortable. Would not hesitate to stay here again when next visiting the area.
Lovely friendly hosts. Such a lovely little place to stay, clean with everything we needed. So quiet and relaxing, perfect for us. Beautiful skys at night. Would happily book again.
We had a 2 night stay, it was comfortable and clean. It was so peaceful at night, sat outside with a bottle of wine. Only negative is the patio isnt enclosed, therfore could be a problem for some people with dogs, although it wasn't a problem for us. Lovely stay, thank you 😊
We loved staying here. Spacious, comfortable and beautifully throughout with a cool decor. Old vintage pieces mixed with modern scandi feel. Lovely shower, comfortable bed. The owner was a lovely person who was helpful when our dog became unwell and the bottle of wine and crisps went down well! AThe garden is a gorgeous place to sit and listen to the birds and have morning coffee or eat in the evening. We would love to visit again soon.
Great little place, in a quiet location, but only 10 minutes to Southwold
