We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending as a place to stay. Spotless and comfortable. I would recommend to anyone with or without dogs. We don’t have any dogs but the bungalow is so clean that you wouldn’t know that dogs had stayed in the past.

Lovely cottage set in a very quiet location, on arrival the size of the property is deceiving, once inside the cottage is very spacious with lots of space, cottage is well equipped with everything you need for a stay. Good sized secure garden for the dog to roam Would recommend this place to stay.

Just got back from our bank holiday break to Friston. Location was within 30 mins driving distance to Southwold, Aldeburgh and Thorpeness which we visited and loved. The cottage was much bigger than the pictures made it look and had everything plus more for us and our 2 dogs. Will definetly be back next time we’re in Suffolk

The house was really welcoming and had all the amenities you’d want. There was lots of space and the garden was lovely. The beds were very comfy and the lounge very cosy. The kitchen was very well stocked, one of the best we’ve experienced with Airbnb. The house is perfectly setup for dogs but equally great if you don’t have one! The location is really good for day trips too

Had a great stay in Saxon Cottage. Lovely bungalow, clean, comfortable & colourful, great garden for our dogs .. secure and tidy. Everything you needed for eating at home, but good pubs close by. The Chequers, 5 mins walk away, is very cosy with great food and friendly owners. Close to Thorpeness & Aldeburgh, 30 mins from Southwold. Footpaths from the bungalow for dog walking. Would definitely return here.

We had a really lovely stay in suffolk. The photos didnt do the cottage justice and it was bigger than expected with everything you could possibly need. A nice big secure garden for our dog and everything doggy related you can think of. Walking distance to the local pub, that does nice food and is very friendly. Close to coast and lots of nice beaches

We were in Suffolk for a dear friend’s funeral, and Saxon Cottage was a perfect and comforting place for our stay. It has everything you could wish for - and more - and has been thoughtfully and generously kitted out. It’s in a delightful location and we wished we could have stayed longer. I reckon we’ll be back!
