You have a warm welcome when you step through the front door into this cosy living room with a couple of sofas, occasional tables, and a TV tucked into the corner. A door opens onto the staircase and there's an opening to the kitchen/breakfast room, making the cottage a very sociable space with hard flooring throughout.
KITCHEN/BREAKFAST ROOM
Retaining old world charm with everything you need to cater at home (or nip out for something from one of the many take-aways close by) - an electric oven with separate grill and four ring hob, a dishwasher, a Nespresso coffee machine (please bring your own pods, standard size), a kettle, and a toaster. A couple of chairs invite you to sit and chat to whilst preparing meals and there's a table with four chairs by the doors to the garden.
FIRST FLOOR
The stairs are quite steep (as shown on the photo) with a hand rail to steady you as you rise to the dressing area where there's a dressing table and stool which could double up as a desk if needs be, and a wardrobe so you have space to unpack and settle in. Doors open to the bedroom and bathroom.
BEDROOM
Decorated in restful colours, this pretty room has a king size bed between bedside tables, a chest of drawers, with a chair and little table in the corner - ideal for morning coffee.
BATHROOM
This lovely light room has a bath under the skylight with a hand-held shower over it and a screen, a wash basin, and a WC.
OUTSIDE
Rose Cottage sits on Long Row which runs off Valley Road, close to all the amenities in Leiston.
There's a quaint and peaceful courtyard style garden at the back which is accessed from the kitchen and has a table and chairs as well as a couple of bar stools by the little 'Shed & Barrel' bar so remember to bring your own drinks!
There is no parking directly outside the cottage, however you are able to drive/reverse up the track to drop off/pick up bags etc. There is a free public car park less than a minute’s walk away on Valley Road an dalso overnight parking on the high street, outside the Library (just round the corner), although these spaces do have some daytime restrictions so please check.
