Thanks so much for our stay perfect quiet little retreat, the lodge was perfect and our two dogs loved the secure safe paddock and actually fully relaxed in the sunshine. Highly recommend for dog walkers, lots of beautiful walks and hiking trails all accessible from the lodge. Loved it so much just booked again to return!

Great location, but expensive for a very basic two nights' stay. The "Welcome Pack" was extremely poor compared to other places we have stayed at. The information pack is for the wrong property. There was grimy glassware and a lot of dust on top of the bathroom and entrance doorways. There were no dustpan and brush, kitchen bin or adequate storage for food. No hooks to hang your towels in the bathroom, hence I discovered the heavy dust on top of the bathroom door when I tried to loop the towel over the edge. There should be a warning that the handle of the kettle gets extremely hot when used. There was no fire blanket, which I thought should be available as the accommodation has a gas cooker. The outside lights had not been cleaned recently, being covered by insect filled cobwebs, etc.

This was a perfect getaway for us! After recently losing one of our dogs we decided to get a way for a couple days with our remaining dog. Our dog absolutely loved it and we were safe in the knowledge that she was fully enclosed. Plenty of amazing walks and just a 10 minute walk the beach. It’s was a great weekend.

The cabin was very private and peaceful, in hindsight we could probably do with a bit more space as we have two dogs. The paddock is great for the dogs yet not completely secure, we have two spaniels that like to explore they managed to get under the wire fence in one area and under the main gate due to a fairly big gap. The cabin could benefit from a toaster as the grill was hard to work, a microwave would be great too although we appreciate it was a small space. The bathroom is compact yet works efficiently, a couple of hooks to hang towels would be a good idea. There is a maintained emergently escape light above the door within the cabin that is quite bright at night, so if you like a pitch dark room to sleep in take an eye mask, fortunately we had some otherwise we thought it could be very distracting. Apart from those minor comments it was very cosy.

Great experience - would recommend! The cabin is spacious, decorated nicely and is well equipped. The view is beautiful and the location is ideal for any dog owners wanting to be away from the town but only a short trip to the beach/pubs/restaurants. We had a small issue with the gas hob on the first morning which did mean that we were able to finish cooking our fry up but the stay in Suffolk team were very proactive and the issue was resolved by the following morning so can’t fault them there. The cabin was mostly clean but we did note there was a left over soap bar in the shower from a previous guest. Neither of these issues are big enough not to recommend the place though, overall an excellent trip away and definitely would return!
