GROUND FLOOR
Effectively open plan between the living room, dining room and kitchen with door openings between each and a step down. Behind the kitchen is a small hall with a door to the garden and door to the bathroom. There's hard flooring throughout the ground floor.
LIVING ROOM
Accessed through a stable door from the high street pavement, this stylish room is well furnished for relaxing in front of the open fire (with fire guard) and watching your favourite programme on the TV which has Sky.
DINING ROOM
The window between the living room and dining room makes this a lovely light room with open doorways to the living room on one side and the kitchen to the other. Carpeted stairs rise from here to the first floor landing where there are steps up to both bedrooms. The room's furnished with a table and four chairs, as well as a dresser stacked with extra crockery with an Alexa on the top enabling you to choose music to serenade your meals!
KITCHEN
This well equipped galley-style kitchen has a built in electric oven, ceramic hob with extractor above, a washing machine (no dryer but there's an airer), a slimline dishwasher, good sized fridge with five drawers and two veg drawers, a freezer with three drawers plus a kettle and toaster.
BATHROOM
Sitting at the back of the cottage, this lovely light bathroom with half-panelled tongue and groove has a bath with both a fixed shower and hand-held wand over it, a wash basin, WC, heated towel rail (towels provided) and window giving natural light.
FRONT BEDROOM
The elegant double bed takes pride of place here between bedside units with drawers and there’s additional storage in a built-in wardrobe and a chest of drawers.
EN-SUITE CLOAKROOM
Simply fitted with a WC and wash basin.
BACK BEDROOM
Sitting quietly at the back, this room also has a double bed with a shelf on one side for your books and water. There's storage in a built-in wardrobe.
OUTSIDE
This terraced cottage sits at the quieter end of town where roadside parking has no restrictions or you can park in the Fort Green Car Park just a few steps away. There's a quaint pebbled sitting area at the back which is accessed through the neighbours' garden. The beach, wonderful walks on the marshes or estuary wall, restaurants, pubs, Brudenell Hotel, fish and chip shop are all just minutes from your front door.

Very well positioned. Easy enough to get causal parking outside of the property. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay in Periwinkle cottage in Aldeburgh, lovely to walk into Aldeburgh and along the beach. House was a bit dusty under furniture etc and there were a few stray dog biscuits around which our dog kept finding, but fine for a couple of nights. Perhaps not as suitable for very young children. Fairly easy to park outside but not always a space during the daytime. It’s a shame that Stay in Suffolk charge extra for early check in, later check out, high chairs and cots when they are available and would make your stay a little bit easier or more enjoyable. If included when available it would seem better value overall.

The property was exactly what we needed for a one-night stay in Aldeburgh. Perfectly located for exploring the local shops, bakeries etc and walking along the beach. It was quiet, the beds were comfy, the shower was powerful and hot. Lounge was lovely and cosy for relaxing in. We didn’t really use the kitchen so can’t comment on how well equipped that was. Very easy to find, easy parking on the street outside. We at dinner at the Lighthouse which was lovely and had a delicious breakfast at the Two Magpies bakery. Watch out if you get fish and chips to eat by the beach - the gulls will steal out out of your hands!

Cosy, clean cottage in a brilliant location. Easy free parking right outside. Good communication from Stay in Suffolk. As other people have mentioned, a welcome pack would have been nice, and there’s a bit of wear and tear.
