The house was good, with a smart, modern kitchen and bathroom. Some of the other rooms felt a little dated, but perfectly fine in every other respect. The garden was large, secure, and a great space for the child and dog to run around in. Unfortunately there were a number of small issues that we had to report during our stay, such as a faulty kettle, hairdryer, gas stove. Communications on these issues were good, and a replacement hairdryer was delivered a couple of days later. The location was great, the village was lovely. One mile walk down a lovely public footpath through the fields to the beach.

Good clean house with plenty of space and a nice sized garden. Harry was very flexible, took our booking at short notice and let us extend when we needed to.

Well equipped house and secure garden in countrysde location with nearby walk across fields to the beach. House had a damp / musty smell on arrival.

Nice weekend getaway, close to lots of walks in a quieter part of Suffolk. 10 second walk to a park which lead to a path taking you to the sea (20 min walk). Bed was comfortable and we slept well. Tv had very limited channels (most not working) but they provided some games which were great fun! The house smelt badly of smoke as we entered, all our clothes needed washing as soon as we got home whether worn or not! Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay in this area of Suffolk. Very peaceful, especially considering it’s the school holidays. Great communication for check in and lots of information. Highly recommend Ramsholt and Deben walk in the book of walks kindly left to read. Finish with a pub lunch at the Ramsholt Arms overlooking the water, perfect!

We really enjoyed our stay in Alderton. The place was perfect for two adults, grandma, baby and dog. The house was very comfortable and we had everything we needed. Large fenced-in backyard was perfect for the dog and little one to explore. Excellent playground in the recreational field and a very nice walk eastwards to the shingle beach. The surroundings were incredibly quiet and peaceful. Would definitely stay here again.

We recently stayed in Alderton, Suffolk, and overall, it was an enjoyable experience. The location was peaceful, allowing for a much-needed break from the bustling city life. The property itself was good value for money, and the back bedroom had a great view of the sea in the distance. The village of Alderton was quaint, peaceful, and serene, with the coast only a short walk away. We were able to explore the area by taking long strolls with our dog along the beach at Martello Tower, a historic landmark nearby. It truly was an enjoyable escape. This Airbnb offers good value for money, and I would recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful break in the Suffolk countryside.
