Mill Cottage is a charming detached holiday home located in the grounds of Mill House in Tunstall, perfect for a couple looking to relax away from the hustle and bustle of day to day life at any time of the year. Interiors are finished to a high standard and cleverly designed to incorporate everything you need in the studio, including a lovely log burner to keep you cosy in the winter. In the summer, there's the added bonus of a gorgeous natural wild swimming pond.
The space
STUDIO
You'll find everything you need in this well designed room with a kitchen in one corner; king size bed with quality linens, bedside cabinets and a chest of drawers; and living area with a couple of chairs, coffee table, TV with Netflix, wood burner and a small dining table and couple of dining chairs by the window so you can make the most of the view.
OUTSIDE
The studio sits in the grounds of the owners' house across a large garden so you both have privacy. There's a couple of reclining chairs and a bistro style table and chairs so you can make the most of the fresh air and exceptionally rural spot surrounded by flora and fauna. You're welcome to use the wild swimming pond at your own risk.

Charming studio cottage which lived up to our expectations. Very clean and well presented. A couple of tea bags, a couple of sachets of coffee and sugar and some individual milk sachets were provided to get you started. Very well equipped kitchen if you want to prepare your own meals on the hob or in the oven (no microwave). Good location with beautiful Orford just 10 minutes away, and the Snape Maltings and Aldeburgh are also just a short drive. Southwold is a straightforward 45 minute drive. My only tip is to bring slippers or thick socks as you are requested to remove shoes inside, but I found the floor to be a bit chilly in the mid-May evenings (beautiful brick flooring with a rug in the seating area and another under the comfy bed) although the cottage itself was very warm and cosy. I would definitely stay again!

Beautiful cabin in a beautiful part of Suffolk. We used it as a base for two days of cycling plus a concert visit to Snape. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay at Mill Cottage in Tunstall. The accommodation was as described, in a lovely setting overlooking a swimming pond. Self check-in was easy, and a short time later the owner knocked on the door with a bottle of wine which was a lovely touch. The was spotless, with a large and comfortable bed, and the cottage was equipped with everything we needed. We would definitely stay again.
