A great location and home to stay in. Hot tub was fabulous. Lodge had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Only a 2 minute walk to the on-site restaurant and swimming pool/spa. Fabulous site if you’re a golfer. Great location to visit coastal areas of Suffolk.

We had a great stay here with the family. The accommodation is lovely and spacious and was as described. Great location for day trips out with the kids. They even supplied some duck food for the ducks at the pond just around the corner which I thought was a nice touch and the kids loved it. Highly recommend and would stay again.

Lovely stay at Mallards Rest, extremely well stocked lodge in terms of kitchen and just general facilities. Beautiful surroundings with resturant and swimming pool on site. Hot tub evenings watching the sun go down was a great way to relax.

Four of us stayed in Mallards' Rest Lodge. It had everything we needed and more. The photos don't really do it justice. We loved relaxing in the hot tub and the big, comfy lounge. I also need to mention the Barn restaurant, just 2 minutes walk from the lodge. The food is fantastic and they do the best Sunday roasts. The owners were very communicative throughout our stay. We'd highly recommend this wonderful lodge.

Beautiful house, lovely location & views we felt right at home. The on site pub had lovely food, good beer and the staff were polite, accommodating & friendly. We had one issue with the property, if you’re reading this bear in mind the weather was unusually cold, -1 to -3 everyday and thick daily snow! This property has underfloor heating which we haven’t used before. The property was cold when we arrived and set to 17.5deg. We turned it up to 21deg in arrival (5pm) and by the time we went to be (11pm) it was still only 19deg. The next morning we turned it to 22deg which by lunchtime it reached the temperature. We like it cooler at night time so turned it down before bed but the house remained hot into the night. We worked out if you turned the heating down just after lunch by nighttime it was the right temperature and just left the heating off in the bedroom, and left the door open so it wasn’t too cold. All in all would definitely stay again now we understand the heating system!
