This cottage has a lovely, well-equipped open-plan kitchen and living room with a fantastic woodburner, smart TV and two sofas. Off the living room is a dining area with a utility room next to it benefitting from a washing machine, butlers sink and a wet room with a shower and WC.
Upstairs there are two characterful bedrooms, one king size with en-suite bedside tables, a built-in wardrobe, a chest of drawers and a second with a zip and link bed that can be made up as two singles or a king with a bedside table and chest of drawers. Please let us know in advance of your stay how you would like the second bedroom made up.
Outside there is a large, enclosed back garden with outdoor furniture, a BBQ and a pond, perfect for enjoying a family meal with a glass of wine during the summer months.

When it comes to using the shared treehouse, please be mindful of neighbours and other guests on-site. Please note use of the shared treehouse space and children's slide is at the user's risk.

Perfect escape! So peaceful. Really enjoyed the large garden, which was very secure meaning our dogs could sniff around without escaping. Lots of great walks near by, little shop about a mile away in the neighbouring village. Was a great stay and would definitely go back!

Knowing the area we found the property pretty easily; I would suggest noting that if you pass Thornham Walks it is approx 1/2 mile on the left. Loved the touch of Prosecco and biscuits on entry - thank you. Lovely quiet location although should be noted there are other properties and activities on site - tree house; trampoline and swing - which is great for families but not for us!! Wetroom downstairs felt like a good idea but is a little impractical- given we were 2 parties of adults one had en-suite other had the wetroom. Having the loo in the shower meant wet feet when using the loo!! Also handwashing after using the loo meant using the utility room sink. Pillows and some of the bedroom furniture were a little out of date and rough round the edges - only one mirror, for example. House was very clean and had a good amount of downstairs space and garden; benefiting from sun hours all day. The garden needs a little tlc and could be incredible. Overall we had a good stay.

We had a lovely weekend. The kids was so happy with all the outdoor entertainment. It's a perfect place for a family weekend away. 5min away from lovely walks and a local shop if you need anything.

Little Swattesfield was perfect for our weekend stay! We booked it last minute and it had everything we could have needed. The garden was big and well fenced off so our dog could run around without us needing to worry. It was a very relaxing and peaceful weekend, thank you!

We have had a really lovely stay, wish we could stay longer! Such a gorgeous location, and so peaceful. The house feels so cosy and we felt right at home. Our young daughter loved playing on the trampoline and slide, unfortunately the weather was pretty up and down over our stay so she would definitely love to come back to play more!

Lovely week at Little Swattesfield. Ideal location for our two dogs having large enclosed garden and ability to go on public footpaths right outside our door. Great play area next to the property which our 5 year old daughter loved and her dad (me!). Not everything worked perfectly in the house. All pretty minor though which didn’t affect our holiday.

Very nice stay thank you. The house was as described and in a nice area. A good fenced in area for our dog. The only small negative was the house heating was a bit confusing initially and I think it should be made clearer in the airbnb description whether firewood is included or not. Very cosy seating area for the fire.

Thankyou Nicky being the perfect host. Everything about our mini break was first class. The welcome pack was the best I've ever been presented with. The fizz was very kind. Cosy and yet very spacious. Our pooch enjoy the spacious and secure garden. The local walks were perfect...peace and quiet. We will see you again soon. Sincerely Paul and Family
