A lovely, lovely place. The conservatory/garden room is so peaceful to sit in and exactly what we needed for this weekend. Coffee shop, pubs and Coop walkable within 5 minutes. Lots of nice country walks along fields or beautiful houses.
Super house in a lovely village. Pretty garden room and the rest of the property was beautifully appointed. Lots to do in the area.
A very pretty, cosy cottage - beautifully decorated and well equipped. Excellent location, with shops, pubs and walks right on the door step. Owners were super quick to respond and very friendly. We loved it so much, we booked to stay an extra night while we’re there - be prepared to never want to leave!
We had a lovely stay at Lantern house! It was the perfect peaceful getaway for New Years! We absolutely loved the cosy feel of the house and particularly enjoyed the log burner of an evening! Debenham itself was lovely and quaint and we enjoyed the local pubs and walks and the slow pace compared to London! Would highly recommend and would definitely love to come back and stay again.
We loved our stay in your beautiful and comfortable home. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding was comfortable. The shower was wonderful. We had trouble finding the TV but eventually found it behind a wood panel which popped out and revealed it! We were thankful to have the fans provided because the weather was very warm for the first few days and it was very hot upstairs without being able to open the windows. The conservatory is such a lovely place to have coffee and read the paper, a book or simply relax and chat The courtyard is gorgeous and the ringing church bells we heard regularly made for a unique and wonderful 9 nights at Lantern House.
We had a nice stay at the cottage, which was clean and comfortable. The location was ideal and it was not noisy, even though it was located on the high street.
The Hopit Wood and Lake’.
Lovely home from home stay, would recommend, so nice not to have a TV.
Lovely spot. Charming cottage well located for a wedding at crows hall. Well equipped. Nice to have some outdoor space. Only minor down side is the heat upstairs - the front bedroom windows have been sealed and it was therefore hard to sleep. Fans provided some relief. May be worth considering in summer.

The Lantern House was perfect for our countryside holiday, exactly as described. We had a problem with the heating but that's okay, sometimes things don't work as expected! 'Stay in Suffolk' were instantly responsive and reached out to the owner, who came over and did what he could. He couldn't get the boiler started but he did get the hot water going. He was polite and apologetic and offered to bring us some electric heaters, even though it would take him over an hour. We declined as it was not that cold and we had the wood burner. Speaking of which... It was wonderful to have the fire going every evening; we could just relax in front of it after a day out. The only thing to note is that there is no microwave, which would have been handy for ready-made meals as there are not many places to eat in the village. Check in was easy, and parking was convenient. The Conservatory is a delight to sit and read in the natural light. Overall, a comfortable stay. I would def recommend.
