Kipper Cottage is a hidden gem, tucked away off a busy street with the luxury of having a private parking space.
The front door opens into the bright and airy open plan lounge / kitchen / diner. The high ceilings and Velux window makes this feel spacious and inviting. The lounge area has a two-seater sofa and two armchairs where you can relax and watch your favourite programs or films on the Smart TV. The well equipped modern kitchen has a 4 ring electric hob and oven, an integrated fridge with a small freezer box, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, kettle and toaster. There is a table and 4 chairs should you wish to dine in.
Door leads to the downstairs bathroom with a bath with a waterfall shower over, WC, hand basin and heated towel rail.
Ground floor bedroom with twin beds, bedside table and a cupboard with shelving and hanging space for your clothes.
Stairs lead to the second bedroom with a kingsize bed, two bedside tables and hooks for hanging clothes. A window looks out to the front and brings in natural light making this a lovely bright room.
Outside there is a private parking space and a small open courtyard area where can relax on those summer evenings with a glass of your favourite tipple and soak up the sun.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Kipper Cottage! Tucked away in a quiet little courtyard just off East Street, it truly is a hidden gem in the heart of Southwold. The location couldn't be better—you are just a few minutes' walk from the beach, the pier, the lighthouse, and all the lovely boutique shops and cafes on the High Street. The cottage itself is beautifully laid out, clean, modern, and surprisingly spacious with its bright, open-plan living and kitchen area. It is incredibly well-equipped with everything you could possibly need for a self-catering break, and the beds are exceptionally comfortable. The ground-floor bedroom and bathroom (with a fantastic waterfall shower and great bath) are a brilliant addition, making it very accessible.

A fantastic place in an excellent location. Perfectly situated in the heart of town and with a dedicated parking space. Kipper cottage is kitted out well, it’s comfortable and is furnished well and to a nice spec too. We would recommend and stay again!

We enjoyed our stay. The accommodation is pleasant and clean. There is limited room in the upstairs bedroom. Good bathroom and shower and well equipped kitchen. Off road parking for one vehicle. The property is centrally located with a quality fish and chip shop nearby and a good pub, The Nelson, down the road. Thank you.
