The space

Hidden down a private track in rural Suffolk, this self-contained annex sits alongside a 16th century farmhouse with open views across unspoilt countryside. It is one of those places that is genuinely hard to leave.

There is a large double bedroom and the sitting room has a fold out double sofa bed for any extra guests, a fully equipped kitchen and dining area with an Aga, and a bathroom with both a bath and a shower. Underfloor heating runs throughout, and there is Wi-Fi throughout for those who need to stay connected.

The setting is as peaceful as it looks. You have exclusive use of the property and the freedom to explore the gardens. Ten miles from the Suffolk Heritage Coast, it is a quiet base for those wanting to get away from it all, with Aldeburgh, Framlingham and the surrounding area within easy reach.

For longer stays, the property works just as well. Reliable broadband, a proper kitchen and a comfortable setup make it a practical and relaxed home from home for those working in the area.

A few things to know before you book. Access is via a quarter mile of unmade track, so a vehicle with decent ground clearance is recommended. Get in touch before booking if you are unsure about access.
