This was a beautiful property. A lot of effort had obviously gone into refurbishing it to retain the original woodwork but make it suitable for letting. It stayed relatively cool despite the hot weather The location was perfect being only a few minutes from Aldeburgh and Snape. Also close to the A12 for easy access to other areas.

We had a lovely stay here whilst I was working at Snape. A very short drive away. We had been moved to The Hayloft; one of a collection of apartments/homes within the converted barn, and were thoroughly pleased with this compact and comfortable one bedroom split level home. The ground floor lounge and kitchen/diner is perfectly comfortable for a couple (and two dogs). The 1st floor bedroom and en-suite are suitably spacious. I had asked for an early check-in quite late in the day and although initially told it wouldn’t be possible on this occasion, we were offered a complimentary late check-out as a gesture. On our check-in day the owner of the property made the property available for an early check-in after-all. This adjustment made things significantly easier for us. We loved looking across the grounds and noticing the bunny rabbits bobbing around. Well situated for getting to Aldeburgh too. We would highly recommend this property for a stay!

We stayed over Christmas 24th - 26th and it was perfect for us. The instructions to find it were very clear , there is lots of parking , the place was clean and tidy and the bed was very comfortable.

We had such a lovely stay at this flat! It's in a renovated thatched barn that also has a few other holiday lets inside of it, but it was soundproof so didn't feel that way. The TV in the flat was a nice bonus, as it had streaming apps on it. Everything was super clean and the bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept on in (not too hard, not too soft, super soft linens). The little pond at the front of the property was also fun to have a look at. The location is great -- equidistant to several key areas like Snape Maltings, Aldeburgh and Sutton Hoo. Would recommend a cafe called Pinch that's just outside Saxmundham on a farm with a little shop -- excellent food and coffee! The Pump Room in Orford was also lovely, as recommended by the property. Overall, I very much recommend this airbnb!
