We had a lovely weekend staying in this cosy barn. It's well equipped, nicely arranged space and we had a warm welcome from the owner when we arrived. All information was clear and suggestions for local eating places and attractions very helpful. Great rural location near to Aldburgh and set in beautiful countryside.
Fantastic property, ideal location for Aldburgh, Southwold and Snape, absolutely spotless. Great hosts. If staying in winter be aware the property takes alot of heating due to the double height ceiling/mezzanine and bring your slippers as the flag stone floor as beautiful as it is, is freezing! That being said we would stay again in a heartbeat.
Really nice converted barn property. Cosy and clean with well equipped kitchen and lov ely bathtub for a long hot soak on a cold night. It was easy to find and was peaceful although still well connected to Aldeburgh and Snape Maltings which were both nice places to visit. We found everything we needed and the hosts were easy to reach if needed (we didn't). We enjoyed a peaceful and restful break in our little corner of rural Suffolk.
Really enjoyed our stay in Suffolk. We were quite surprised that our accommodation joined on to a separate guest accommodation as we hadn’t understood this from the description. The only downside was related to this in that the dividing walls must be quite thin - we could hear everything the guests next door did even though they weren’t being unreasonable - to give a sense of this we had trouble concentrating on the film we watched in the evening as the conversation next door was about the same level as the film dialogue. That said the property was very well maintained and absolutely spotless. It’s really a nice place to stay and there is a really lovely walk to Snape Maltings.
We enjoyed a lovely two day break in this superb cottage which was spotlessly clean. We will look forward to returning as the cottage is in a good quiet location.
Beautiful house, perfect space, very clean and lovely owner. Highly recommend
If you want a quiet, and restful place to stay, this is it. Set back from the main road so you don’t get constant road noise. Easy road access to coast and local pub/restaurants, and if you drive an EV very reasonable charging rates.
Lovely stay in a great location. Kitchen could have been better equipped but we were able to cook in ok. Wasn’t clear to me from the listing that this is one of four holiday lets within the barn, but still felt peaceful and private. Local area was lovely, lots of walking and great fish & chips in Aldeburgh.
We had a great few days here, a peaceful setting and everything we needed for a refreshing holiday. Thank you!
