The space

At its centre is a generous open plan living and dining area. There's a wood burning stove to gather around, comfortable seating split across two areas, and a dining table that seats eight, all set beneath a bay window with views out over the grounds. A porch and adjoining sun room make a peaceful spot for morning coffee, looking out over the garden. The kitchen has a country feel and comes equipped with an oven, hob and fridge, along with a small table for everyday breakfasts. Running along the back of the house, the utility room offers a walk-in pantry, a second fridge freezer, washing machine, and generous storage for coats, wellies and outdoor gear.

Four bedrooms make up the standard sleeping arrangement, a double, a king room with its own wash basin, a twin, and a second double, served by two bathrooms, one downstairs and one on the first floor. There's also a fifth bedroom, a king on the ground floor, which can be added at an additional cost by prior arrangement- please contact us at least a week before your booking commences. For families or groups with children, the games room is a real bonus, with table football, bean bags and board games on hand.

The grounds offer a varied landscape to discover, combining natural, untended areas with generous open lawns. An outdoor BBQ and dedicated fire pit are also available on-site, ideal for guests wishing to enjoy the outdoors in comfort during cooler evenings.

Set in the heart of Suffolk, Rendlesham is well placed for trips into Woodbridge and Framlingham, and it's only a short drive to the coast at Aldeburgh and Orford. Rendlesham Forest itself is right on your doorstep, with miles of walking and cycling trails, making this a great base for a stay that mixes countryside days with time on the coast.
