The bedroom leads into the generous sized chic modern bathroom. There is a WC, 2 “his” and “her” sinks with drawers and cupboards under, a shaving mirror and a large walk-in power shower. There is also a heated towel rail.
There is a walk in cupboard in the bathroom where the washing machine is stored.

Outside there is a paved seating area, one just outside the front door and another to the left of the cottage with table and chairs, either being the perfect spot to dine al fresco or simply, enjoy a glass of wine and soak up the sun. The rest of the large garden surrounding the cottage is mainly laid to lawn with some shrubs and trees, along with a small wildlife pond.

Compass Barn is by far the loveliest 2-berth Air BnB we've stayed in to date - so tastefully decorated and extremely well equipped. Host Michael is super friendly and helpful. The kitchen is very well kitted out, the bedroom decorated in such calming shades and with such a luxurious feel, excellent quality linen and towels. The bathroom is a treat, with plenty of hot water and his n hers sinks! We felt spoilt 😊. We absolutely loved the place and truly hope to go back soon. Thank you!

We booked this accommodation at the last minute so we were a little anxious to see if the photos and description lived up to expectations. It did do exactly that! Well equipped and spacious with great comms throughout the booking process. Location is good for visiting the Suffolk coastline with Southwold and Walberswick within easy reach. The accommodation really enabled us to relax and enjoy the experience. We didn't meet the Hosts but the comms and instructions ensured we had all relevant information. Overall, very impressed and we are very appreciative.

We had a brilliant stay at Compass Barn - it was so homely, well-equipped and perfectly-formed! Our host was really welcoming and responded to our washing-machine query with a prompt and helpful set of instructions complete with photos! We’d definitely come back here.

I can’t speak highly enough about this Airbnb. So well appointed and stacks of room - with quality fittings and fixtures. It really is a home from home and a great place to relax and enjoy the garden. Would have loved to stay longer. Met Mike who lives next door and he was very friendly and helpful. The area is peaceful and some interesting places within relatively short drives. Framlingham Castle, Orford Castle and Sutton Hoo definitely worth visiting. The Crown in Southwold is nice for food and good old fashioned service. The local pub, Star Inn, is walkable and a nice pint. We had a couple of steaks which were decent and good value. All in all we had a lovely break
