This Suffolk pink cottage, built in 1830, is located in a great position at the north end of the high street within easy reach of the independent shops, eateries, and the wonderful shingle beach stretching to Thorpeness. Interiors retain all the old world charm with low ceilings and diamond lattice windows through the cosy living room, dining room and kitchen on the ground floor; two doubles and two singles on the first floor with the family bathroom, plus an outside cloakroom.

The space

Review - "Fab cottage! Well maintained and super dog friendly. Perfect location for the town and sea front walks."

Step down off the high street into the entrance where you can hang your coats before going through to the living room, opening to the dining room, leading to the rear hall. Doors from the hall open into the courtyard and kitchen which also has a door to the outside bin store. Steep carpeted stairs rise from the hall to the first-floor landing with a handrail to steady you. Wooden flooring runs through the living and dining rooms, with tiles in the kitchen and hall.

A delightful cottage , very spacious downstairs. No parking outside the cottage was the only downside, but we always managed to find a space within a short walk.

It was better than the photos. Beautiful house and so well equipped. We loved it, including our dog who had a great time going on walks, eating the dog treats left by host and being welcomed by pubs, cafes and restaurants. Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Ann Page cottage. We had all the amenities we needed and the location is perfect - right on the high street and next to the beach. For those with kids we also recommend a short walk to the nearby tennis courts and recreation ground which are excellent.

A beautiful cottage, right in the heart of Aldeburgh. A very short stroll from wonderful Delicatessens, cafes, ice creams and a host of lovely shops. Just 1 minute walk to the beach. Deceptively spacious, with 3 good sized bedrooms and a small single. Parking is a bit restricted, but if you’re not desperate to have your car right near you, then it’s not a problem. There is “plenty of free parking” on the seafront, but the spaces are usually full! 😂 Having said that, we almost always managed to squeeze in to a space, but it does get busy. The house is beautiful, well appointed and homely. Don’t miss the outside loo, which we didn’t notice for 4 days!! It’s handy to have 2 toilets in a 4 bed house. Had a wonderful stay and couldn’t have asked for more.

We were lucky to find Barry’s place at the last minute for the Latitude Festival. Great location 4 doors down from one of the best book shops in Suffolk, and 6 doors away from the Stay In Suffolk office, so support was great. There was a small confusion over our early check in, which resulted in the cleaning not being done when we arrived. But this was soon sorted by the very proactive team at Stay In Suffolk. A lovely stay, thank you.
