A beautiful spot with rural views. Off-road car parking space in front of the cottage is normally available for one or two cars. A garden at the front leads into the cottage and there is a generous size south facing, secluded rustic garden at the back, providing some sheltered spots where you can relax and listen to the birds.
There is a right of way across the immediate rear of the terrace of four cottages, giving residents direct access to Coles Hill Road.
Wenhaston is a pretty village surrounded by Suffolk countryside – great for cycling and walking, with seaside Dunwich and Walberswick (delightful for crabbing) 5 miles away and popular Southwold 7 miles away. Also, a short drive away is Minsmere RSPB reserve and Snape Maltings with its year-round programme of music, art exhibitions, restaurants and craft shops.
There is a regular bus service to Southwold and Halesworth if you do not want to drive.
I had a fantastic time in Wenhaston with the added bonus of the local pub’s beer festival. People were very friendly and the accommodation perfect for a tranquil getaway! Beautiful garden with an amazing view of the stars of an evening. Lots to do in and around the area, but a car is needed if you want to venture further than the local pub and walks. Recommended places to visit include the Silo coffee shop just outside Bungay (a great stop on the way to Wenhaston), Southwold for the pier and beach, as well as Beccles Lido, and access to the River Waveney! Beautiful stay.
We had a lovely time at Angel Cottage, it felt so homely and was so clean. The host left excellent instructions and everyone was so friendly in the surrounding houses. Would highly recommend!
Great place for a couple of our team members to stay whilst working on Latitude. Thank you!
We thoroughly enjoyed our 4-day stay in Angel Cottage. It is a very comfortable little property within easy reach of several places of interest, both inland and on the coast.
Absolutely gorgeous 5-star Air BNB! Beautifully appointed and every detail considered. Host was excellent and was extremely attentive. Would highly recommend this property and we can’t wait to return!
Lovely cosy cottage with everything you could need for a country retreat.
Lovely private garden and outdoor spaces to enjoy when the weather is decent
We had a wonderful stay at Angel cottage. The house was very comfortable with a beautiful garden and shared parking just opposite. It's on a quiet road in a pretty village near some lovely pubs and beautiful beaches. Check in was easy and the welcome hamper was a welcome suprise. The house has everything you need for a home from home break. We enjoyed visiting the local towns and beaches in the day and relaxing in the garden in the evenings (the back door can be a little sticky, you just need to push against the door when turning the key).
We had a lovely stay at Angel Cottage. The instructions upon arrival were helpful and allowed us to find parking easily. The house was clean and well kitted out. The garden was beautiful and was a lovely spot in the sunshine. Be aware that ceilings are low so head height is restricted in the older part of the property. The only criticism is that the neighbours can be heard late at night!

We felt completely at home in the cottage and had a fabulous time! There are plenty of things to do and see in the area. We did lots of walking in Southwold, Walberswick, Westleton and Aldeburgh. We also enjoyed a day trip to Norwich.
