Easter at Kentwell Hall

Enjoy an exciting egg hunt, try your hand at egg rolling, egg & spoon races, and egg tossing, and challenge yourself with some fun races at Sudbury’s moated Tudor house, Kentwell Hall. This is one of their most popular weekends of the year, where visitors can meet adorable newborn lambs and younger children can take part in the I-Spy trail. This year, special guest The Great Edmundo, a Magic Circle member, is joining us to put on an amazing magic show to entertain all ages.

For those looking to relax, take a stroll through the beautiful gardens and feed the carp from the Moat Bridge, or follow the Kentwell-ness Walk.

Easter Adventure Quest at Framlingham Castle

Take part in an exciting Easter adventure at Framlingham Castle, which is hosting an Easter Adventure Quest that is perfect for families. Children can follow the Easter trail and hunt for hidden eggs, answering questions along the way in their special booklet in order to earn a delicious chocolate reward. When you’re finished, explore the castle and its beautiful grounds to complete your sunny day out.

Easter Family Fun at The Red House

A great two days of Easter-themed family activities await at The Red House in Aldeburgh. Enjoy Easter storytelling with interactive sounds, an audio Easter egg hunt around the gardens with a prize at the end, a craft station where children can create their own Easter-themed musical instruments, and plenty more games and activities across the garden. This fun Easter event must be booked in advance by selecting a time slot over on the Britten Pears Arts website.

Easter Shopping Day at Snape Maltings

A day the whole family can enjoy, the Easter Shopping Day in the beautiful Snape Maltings settings has something for everyone. Adults can shop for decorations, eggs, chocolate, and more, indulge in some tipple tasting, and browse the amazing local Farmers’ Market. Children can try out various Easter crafts, visit sheep, rabbits, and other critters at the petting farm, and get their faces painted. With so much going on, this makes for a brilliant Easter day out.

Easter Gala Steam Up at The Mid-Suffolk Light Railway

Enjoy a steam-powered Easter celebration at The Mid-Suffolk Light Railway’s Easter Gala Steam Up. Experience the power of several steam locomotives in action: ‘Illingworth’ from 1916, a genuine light railway loco which worked during the 1920s, and a newcomer named ‘May’ from 1915, arriving in March. This Easter weekend will also be the first when visitors can ride Mid-Suffolk Light Railway’s newly acquired ex-GER coach no.14!

The museum, restoration shed, tea room, and real ale bar will all be open over the Easter weekend, and the Easter Bunny will make an appearance. This is a great spring day out at a well-loved Suffolk spot.

Woody’s Eggcellent Adventure at Pleasurewood Hills

Join lovable mascot Woody Bear on his Easter adventure at Pleasurewood Hills Family Theme Park this April. His Eggcellent Adventure includes a hunt to find answers that make up a mystery word -and keep an eye out for giant bunny ears, as they give clues to the next marker! This fun-filled activity is perfect for little ones and their families, with chances to win fantastic prizes. Between searching for clues, have a go on the thrilling theme park rides!

Easter at the Play Park at Southwold Maize Maze

Southwold Maize Maze is closed during the winter months, but opens soon, ready for you to join in the Easter fun. Their Easter Bunny Hunt and Golden Egg challenge event will see visitors search for seven hidden Easter Bunny boards and match each one to the corresponding bunny sticker on their game card. Watch out for the trickster maize characters, and collect your Easter treat at the end.

There will also be a golden egg hunt where each day, a single golden egg will be hidden within the play park. With zip lines, climbing towers, and ride-on pedal tractors, this is an ever-popular attraction that will make a great day out this Easter.

Easter Egg Hunt at Somerleyton Hall & Gardens

Somerleyton Hall & Gardens, a stunning venue near Lowestoft, is marking the occasion with their very own Easter trail. Children will receive an Easter egg prize at the end of the trail.
