We really enjoyed our stay. The property was spacious and clean and a perfect choice for a long weekend away in Thorpeness. We found check-in to be easy, with clear communication from the property management. The location was great to walk into Thorpeness, as well as walk along the coastline. The property had a nice 'holiday home' feel, and was well equipped. We cooked in the property on several nights, and it was all very easy. Overall, we were very happy with our stay!
The house was spacious, clean and well situated for the pub, the beach and rowing on the Meare. Aldeburgh is a pleasant walk or cycle away. There was plenty of room to park and as it was so hot it was a great plus to have a couple of fans in the house.
Family of 5 plus dogs just back from a very enjoyable stay. The location is outstanding and also has the benefit of parking. Everything was provided that we needed. Overall very happy.
Wonderful property, perfect for a getaway. Highly recommend!
Great location, very good bedrooms, garden, kitchen equipment and sitting room rather tired and need love. Furniture dated and shabby, kitchen utensils etc below par. Reported broken bin etc but no repair forthcoming. Most of the lampshades broken and needed to be propped up. Again, bedrooms are good
Lovely 3 bedroom house with own private garden . Walking distance to the beach and amenities perfect spot
We had a wonderful stay at the Oaks in Thorpeness. The house was lovely, with creative decor and huge bedrooms! It was only a short walk to the picturesque boating lake and the Dolphin Pub. We would absolutely recommend a short break here.
We had a great stay, lovely walks either on the Heath and costal paths. Very comfy beds and lovely big fluffy towels
Lovely few days in Thorpeness will definitely use again. Many Thanks

This is a fantastic house, it felt like staying with a friend! We loved the thoughtful style and choice of gorgeous furnishings. The bedding & towels are spotless. All the bedrooms are spacious and very nicely presented. The sitting room is lovely with space for 6 to sit or eat but no more than that (too small to entertain). We loved the house in spite of a few very tired & worn elements. It is well equipped and lovely to spend time in. Thank you!
