The space

A single storey holiday home with hard flooring throughout so suited to guests with a mobility issue, however please note that the doors are a standard size and there are two approximately four inch steps from the drive to the entrance, and a four inch lip into the shower cubicle.

LIVING/DINING ROOM
A wonderfully spacious and sociable room with the dining table and chairs at one side and generous sofas, occasional tables and chairs positioned so you can watch the world go by through the picture window, or choose a DVD or TV programme.

KITCHEN
A well-equipped kitchen with plenty of work and storage space, an electric waist height oven with separate grill, a microwave, four ring gas hob, a massive fridge/freezer (5 shelves and 2 veg drawers in the fridge, 4 shelves and 2 drawers in the freezer), a kettle and a toaster.

UTILITY ROOM
With door to the garden and the kitchen, this is ideal for storing a push chair and conveniently has a washing machine and a sink.

MAIN BEDROOM WITH EN-SUITE BATHROOM
Double doors open to the garden from this lovely big bedroom, furnished with a king size bed, bedside tables, built in wardrobes with shelves and a dressing table. There’s also a neat little alcove with a desk and chair for guests who may want to work or study from home and screen which can be used as a laptop if you need to work from home.
The chic en-suite has a hand held shower over the bath with a shower curtain, a wash basin, WC, natural light, and a heated towel rail (please note that towels will be supplied for all guests.

DOUBLE BEDROOM
This light and airy bedroom sits at the side of the house and has a skylight (with blind) over the smart king size bed, bedside tables, and a chair. There’s ample storage in a built in wardrobe and chest of drawers.

TWIN BEDROOM
Also at the side of the house, this room has twin beds with a table between them, a chair, and room to unpack and settle in with a wardrobe and drawers.

SHOWER ROOM
Conveniently located for guests in the side bedrooms, fitted with a hand-held shower on a riser in the double shower cubicle, a wash basin, WC, and heated towel rail.

OUTSIDE
This spacious bungalow sits back from St Peters Road which runs from Thorpe Road on the north side of Aldeburgh, close to the long shingle beach, the sea, and a coastal path running to Thorpeness with a great pub to reward you when you get there! It's also just a short stroll into town so you can easily enjoy all the amenities on offer - eateries, cinema, galleries, and independent shops.
There's ample space on the drive at the front for three vehicles and, at the back is a large fully-enclosed garden, mostly laid to lawn with well-established shrubs, a big patio area with outdoor furniture and a couple of benches so you can move around to follow the sun.
