A wonderful and pristine cottage with a lot of care and attention to quality and little touches clearly shown by the hosts.

The cottage was so homely and a really relaxing base. It was spotlessly clean and furnished beautifully. The location was very close to shops, cafes and restaurants, as well as the river. Being central and close to the bus stop, there was some traffic noise. Ear plugs were useful at night. We had a lovely stay here. The private garden was the perfect spot for enjoying the ice cream from next door!

The perfect place to stay that close to everything and still feel peaceful. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.

Beautiful, peaceful, relaxing stay , property is lovely. The only downside for me was there is no garden as such just a courtyard.

I travel to Beccles for work every week at the moment whilst in process of moving house so I have stayed in a lot of local air bnbs recently. This cottage was really lovely, comfy bed, fast WiFi, good shower, excellent kitchen with high end appliances and everything you could need to cook inc some store cupboard items. Easy to find & get inside with lockbox, lovely rear courtyard with flowers & garden bistro set. Easy walking distance around Beccles & very close to bus stop for fast bus to Norwich. You can use the loading bays outside Bear & Bells pub to unload bags as cottage is on narrow one way street. Only issue is it’s right on the road near the 20mph speed restriction, which is a busy route out of beccles. The traffic noise started around 5.30am and stopped about midnight, unfortunately the glazing wasn’t up to the challenge of soundproofing so suggest bringing some ear plugs if you are a light sleeper as the bed headboard is against the front wall of the property.
