Everything lovely, as described on Airbnb. The only criticism was the area around the door needs tidying as it isn't the prettiest entrance, giving a negative feel before entering. Fake tree needs bining, weeding and general clearing. I'm sure guest would put a bucket of water on any flower troughs( large and deep).

Lovely little place. Very convenient location for shops (it’s opposite the co-op), places to eat and the beach. There are three things that aren’t mentioned in the flat particulars that may affect some people. 1. There’s quite a lot of noise from the street early in the mornings. 2. The shower cubicle is very small. We’re around 5’8 and there was only just enough space to pick up the shampoo and shower gel bottles from the floor. 3. The kitchen is down two steep steps. There’s a handle to hold when you’re going up/out of the kitchen, but it’s not easy to hold on to it on the way down.

Great location, right in the high street and very near the beach and pubs.

Very nice little apartment and well situated on the high street. Enough space for two people but we were glad that we decided last minute not to bring our dog as it’s not very dog practical. No grass outside to let them out for a wee without walking down the road. Also it’s just too small to imagine having a dog there as well and ours is only a French bulldog. The biggest let down were the 100% polyester bedsheets. They were so hot and horrible feeling. Please consider buying cotton bedding especially if you’re letting the place out in the summer. The shower cubicle is tiny. Luckily we’re not big people but if you were I doubt you’d even be able to bend down to pick up your shampoo from the floor. Other Airbnbs I’ve used have indicated the dimensions if they know they have a small shower which is fair because for some people they may not book it knowing it was so small.

This is a beautiful flat exactly as it looks in the photos. We did struggle to locate it in a car and only realised after payment that there is no parking at the property itself. We were lucky to find on street parking a stones throw away though and left it in the same spot for a couple of days with no charge ( luckily). It does look a bit like a building site in the cul de sac where the flat is BUT it’s beautiful once inside and perfect for a single or couple for a few days in Southwold. Tip to find- have the Swan and coop on your left facing the seafront, cross the road and it’s down a little alley next to a designer clothes shop with a coffee shop on the other corner. Parking can be found if you follow the road round towards the common- unrestricted road parking. If only the hosts had have been more helpful in describing where to find parking instead of ‘ you’ll have to find some road parking but there are restrictions’ . Check in extremely straightforward.

We had a lovely short break here. Perfectly located for the beach, shops and restaurants. The bed was very comfortable and the flat was tastefully decorated and well stocked. We would be happy to return and recommend this place. Thank you.
