We had a wonderful stay in this lovely home, perfectly located for exploring the village and surrounding area. The house was spotless on arrival, and the host was very responsive and helpful throughout our visit. A few small improvements (like matching kitchenware, a more comfortable sofa, and not being charged extra for baby items) would have made the experience flawless. That said, these were minor points and didn’t take away from the overall enjoyment of our holiday.

This was our second stay at Oaks Court, and we enjoyed it just as much as our first. The property is light and quiet, and bedrooms and bathrooms tip top, and everything was extremely clean. We found everything we needed to prepare meals - over and above what was provided in many properties we have stayed in. Cooker and dishwasher were easy to use, and instructions for all appliances provided. As nature lovers, we value being able to walk to the beach, to the Meare and along the pathways to the north of the property. As well as Aldeburgh on the doorstep, and Snape Maltings down the road, there are so many beautiful places within a 30 minute drive: Southwold, Walberswick, the wonderful Minsmere RSPB reserve, Woodbridge, Sutton Hoo. Stay in Suffolk staff were friendly and responsive. We will definitely plan to visit again.

We had a great stay with our three year old. The location is fab, walkable to the beach, lake and the pub. Great to have a space reserved right outside the property too - super stress free. The rooms were clean and comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed to cook at the property and having multiple bathrooms was great. Thanks for having us!

We had a fantastic 3 night stay. The house was in a perfect location being close both to the beach and places to eat. It was well maintained, very clean and well equipped. Stay in Suffolk replied to our queries very quickly, even on a Sunday when their offices were closed. We would stay there again.

First time we have visited Suffolk. Thorpeness is a lovely little place to stay. The house was clean and tidy , with everything we needed for our stay. Bedrooms were very good sizes with plenty of storage. Parking was brilliant. The only thing that we felt was very poor was the living room furniture that was extremely uncomfortable to sit on. The sofa was low and very soft and the other two mismatch chairs were very hard and uncomfortable. If these were replaced it would be a 10/10. Thank you.
