Lovely house, lovely set up and so many interesting books and photos from a previous occupant. Great to have the parking provided and so close to the sea and the shops. Only thing missing was oven gloves, but otherwise was one of the best equipped air bnbs we’ve stayed in!

This is a really lovely house to stay in. Very comfortable and homely. The links to the world of music just adds a nice charm. Parking is good and it really is a stone’s throw from the sea front and a 5 minute walk to the high street. Aldeburgh has a good selection of excellent restaurants and cafes (2 Magpies is particularly good for breakfast or an afternoon cake). There are loads of interesting places to visit some walkable like the Red House and Thorpeness, some close by - Sutton Hoo is very interesting particularly if you follow it up with a visit to the Longship shed in Woodbridge where you can see the volunteers working to build a longship using Saxon tools and techniques. Finally it is worth noting that the boiler was switched off when we arrived - it took us a day to realise! - (at the isolation switch to the left of the boiler in the downstairs loo) and there is a thermostat in the dining room which controls the downstairs and one on the stairs for upstairs.

Lovely house , felt very at home there . Quiet and peaceful. Added bonus was parking for our two cars and walking distance to the town and beach front . The only thing the house didn’t cater for was a welcome package. Milk , tea or coffee , which would have been nice after a long drive to get there . So just be mindful to bring everything with you even your vinegar for your fish and chips , from the town .

The location of this house could not be better! It was right in the centre of Aldeburgh but still felt very quiet. The two main bedrooms are absolutely beautiful and so comfortable! The bedding and pillows were amazing!! The living room is wonderful, feels so homely and has everything you need! We had a couple of cleanliness issues, which the host did try to address quickly. Overall for the price we paid and the location we were incredibly happy with our stay and would definitely return.
