Stay in Suffolk is excited to invite guests to stay and experience our latest break at Abbey Shepherd’s Hut in Eye, Suffolk.
Set in the grounds of the magnificent Abbey Hall amongst 10 acres of water meadows with views of the Church of Saint Peter and Saint Paul. A cosy and luxurious space for singles and couples with an appreciation of rural simplicities. Fantastically equipped for a private pastoral escape, guests can enjoy use of the privately appointed shower room and kitchenette a stone’s throw away inside Abbey Hall.
Do stay here if you are looking for a little bit of wilderness with sophistication on the side. The shepherd’s hut is so relaxing, with a view across to Eye church and an amazing sunset on the night I visited. Scrunchy bed linen and candlelight…utter simplicity and romance. Just a stroll across the field is a bathroom with a powerful shower, within a beautifully renovated ancient abbey maltings. I came away feeling rested and inspired! CandidaAirbnb
Must be seen to be believed. The Shepherd’s Hut is located a comfortable distance from the main house – far enough to feel secluded and private but not so far as to feel isolated. It’s just the right size for two people, fitting in cosily along with a couple of small pieces of luggage. In the morning we woke to an idyllic scene right outside – rabbits bouncing happily along under a gentle mist lining the wild meadow just opposite. BenAirbnb
This little hut, set in the midst of gorgeous landscaping gazing out over trees and fields with a glimpse of historic Eye’s magnificent church, is an absolute treasure. The hut itself is just magical, with the little pixie lights dotted around the outside, and the shower inside for our use was to DIE for! An extraordinary and very romantic space – we can’t wait to go again! ClaireAirbnb
