OUTSIDE
Located in arguably the best location in town, Market Cross Place borders the promenade with some unrestricted parking available in front of the terrace. You’ll literally be staying steps from the beach for your morning swim, to play a game of boules, or to pick up some fresh fish from one of the seaside huts. The heart of town with its wonderful eateries, independent shops, cinema, galleries, etc. is just round the corner.
There is no provision for electric vehicles, so we recommend you stop at Friday Street at Snape on your way to Aldeburgh to recharge.
Perfect location Nice place 🙂
We had a wonderful time at the property, the views are lovely and it's in a great location. The apartment is well equipped and we had a pleasant stay. My only negative comment is that it is managed by Suffolk stays, they wanted money to hire baby equipment and fans, extra fees for any early or late checkouts, just felt very money grabbing. And when we checked out they accused us of not leaving the key back in the safe as it wasn't there for the next checkin but inbetween that time a cleaner must have visited the property, I sent a clear response confirming we left the key but they never replied to me. The tone and language used in the message to me was very unprofessional.
The apartment was very comfortable with a sublime view from the beautiful lounge windows. We really enjoyed our stay.
The apartment is in a fantastic location with easy access to the town and beach. The beds were comfy, showers in good condition and living room was spacious. Additional care and attention is required to give this a five star review - the hallway and carpets are looking a bit battered, some basic kitchen utensils were missing (e.g. pizza cutter, tongs, salt and pepper) and the welcome pack was not comparable with other places we have stayed in at a similar price level. Overall would recommend though; we had a fantastic holiday.
We’ve been coming to Aldeburgh for years and stayed in many houses and apartments. We loved this for its location and view with easy walking distance to restaurants and shops. The apartment is just my style comfortable cosy and the decor suits my Bohemian taste lots of eclectic artwork adorns the walls with a nod to Indian and Morocco and French chateau pieces! There was everything we needed and each bedroom had a lovely comfortable bed pillows and duvets and each had its own bathroom. You did not need a degree to work out the oven and microwave it was simple and easy to use! Lovely round table for ambient dining and a window seat to enjoy the view and watch the world go by. Squidgy comfortable sofa and comfy armchairs were perfect as the weather was cold so we were warm and comfortable in our little haven! We will definitely come back again.
Very fun and quirky place. Loved having our morning coffee on the balcony.
We’ve decided this is the best end of town to stay! Free parking and directly overlooking the sea. The balcony was great, the front room very large and bright. We liked the layout of the flat, that if multiple people were staying here you wouldn’t feel on top of one another.
Great location and view
Incredible view! it was very hard to leave. Such a privilege to stay in this historic terrace. The owners clearly have a wonderfully quirky way with colour and art and have created a beautiful nostalgic homely apartment, which was a joy to Stay in.

A fabulous & quirky apartment in a really good location with an amazing view. Comfy beds, modern bathrooms & plenty of hot water. We were disappointed by a few things that were not up to standard. A big unpleasant stain on lounge carpet. No cereal bowls..just plastic bowls...which was unacceptable. Welcome pack very limited. I reported the issues regarding the stain & plastic bowls to Stay in Suffolk & was advised that they would investigate...but heard nothing more during our 4 night stay which was disappointing.
